Amados hermanos, Dios les bendiga!

En esta navidad, cenamos unos pollos rellenos que hizo mi esposa, los cuales estuvieron demasiado sabrosos, los niños pudieron también disfrutar de unos regalos, unos que les dieron las autoridades de la ciudad, otros de los padres de familia de un kinder privado de la ciudad, y otros que los proporciono el pastor Gildardo de la iglesia en Suchiapa, en esta cena de noche buena nos acompañaron mis cuñados, hermanos de Magvis...

Los niños disfrutaron mucho de abrir sus primeros regalos en su vida, así que fue muy emotivo lo que sucedió...

Un regalo a nuestras vidas es, María José, un nuevo integrante en nuestra familia, ella esta por violencia familiar, y estamos muy contentos con ella, ella tiene 9 años...

A gift to our lives is, Maria Jose, a new member in our family, she is here because of family violence, and we are very happy to have her, she is 9 years old ...

Y que decir de Ángel... precioso ¿verdad? el esta a nuestro cuidado por estas vacaciones... el nació con muchas enfermedades y sus padres no son considerados aptos para cuidarle, por esta causa la ciudad lo tiene a su cuidado, el puede quedarse a nuestro cuidado definitivamente, pero estamos analizando este caso, ya que necesitamos personal, es muy pesado todo el trabajo que se hace en el día, y con Ángel la noche se hace difícil, Magvis se esta encargando de el por las noches y esto es mucho trabajo... agradezco mucho a Dios por mi esposa y mi hija Veronica, hacen un trabajo muy bueno y agotador en la casa hogar, y en ocasiones se nota su cansancio, pero se que Dios les darà mas y mas fuerzas, nuestro deseo es poder ser útiles ayudando también a bebes, mas Dios nos guiara en este asunto...

And what about Angel ... he is beautiful right? he is in our care for these holidays ... he was born with many diseases and their parents are not considered fit to take care of him, for this reason the city has his guardianship , he can definitely stay in our care, but we must pray about this, because we need staff, there´s a lot of work done during the day, and night Angel gets tough, Magvis is taking care of him at nights and this is definitely hard work ... I´m grateful to God for my wife and daughter Veronica, They do a very good job and stressful duties in the house, and sometimes they express their weariness, but I know God will give them more and more strength, our desire is to be useful in helping the kids, but God will guide us in this matter ...

Gracias a Dios, fue una feliz navidad y no por los regalos, sino por lo bueno que ha sido Dios con nosotros, y lo vemos a trabes de nuestro hermoso Pablo...

Solo para comentarles la alegría que tuvimos al recibir en nuestra casa a los hermanos Armendaris, ellos vinieron a visitar al hermano Eugenio y su ministerio, ya que la PIB de Juarez le apoyan... tomaron un tiempo para visitarnos, y pudimos gozarnos con su precencia y su platica... ellos oran muy fuertemente por el ministerio y vinieron a ver la respuesta de sus oraciones... Dios les bendiga mucho... son gente muy amada a través de los años y un gran regalo de Dios a nuestra vidas...

Armendaris Brothers

Queridos hermanos, damos gracias a Dios por todo lo misericordioso que a sido para con nosotros, cada día podemos ver, que felices son los que confían en El.

En el mes de Septiembre, el hermano Hugo, miembro de la Iglesia Betel en Ocosingo, me invito a acompañarle como guía y para ayudarle a comprar un vehículo en ciudad Juárez, por lógica no me negaría a tal petición, así que fue un viaje relámpago, pero pude visitar a mi familia y gracias a Dios todos están bien, ocupados en las cosas de Dios, pude pagar la tenencia del remolque que tengo, comer comida del norte, y ver algunos amigos y hermanos (pocos realmente)…

In September, brother Hugo, a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Ocosingo, invited me to join him as a guide and to help him buy a car in Ciudad Juarez, logically I would not deny such a request, so it was a short trip, but I visited my family and thank God all of them are doing well, they are all busy with the things of the Lord, I could pay the tenure of the trailer that I have, eat northern food, and see some friends and brothers (few actually) ...

Antes de irme, un joven me descompuso las podadoras de césped que yo tenia, así que este viaje fue una bendición, ya que pude comprar una y lo que es mejor, la familia Barraza Lujan del paso Texas, me regalaron dos podadoras, lo conmovedor de esto es que son gente muy querida o demasiado querida, y pude ver nuevamente el amor de ellos hacia nosotros, y agradezco a mis padres por su vida, ya que ellos impactaron las vidas de mis hermanos y ahora yo recibo fruto de amor de parte de ellos, mis hermanos Barraza y familia Lujar, les amo así como Dios me ha enseñado a amar…

Before I left, a young fellow broke my lawn mowers, so this trip was a blessing because I could buy one and the best part is that family Barraza Lujan, from Texas, gave me two. These are very loved people, and I could see again their love for us, and I thank my parents for their life because they impacted the lives of my brothers and now I get the fruit of that fellowship, my brothers and the Lujan Barrraza family, I love them just as God has taught me to love ...

Y hablando de los frutos que gozo del trabajo de mis padres, sin duda es el amor del hermano Ernesto y su esposa Anita, gente amada en el Señor, tan importantes en nuestro ministerio y parte principal en nuestro desarrollo como pastor y misionero, mi hermano Ernesto fue un amigo y hermano de mi padre, parte importante en el comienzo y desarrollo del orfanatorio que abrieron mis padres… y una gran herencia de mi padre a mi vida, yo no se como me vea mi hermano Ernesto, pero para mi es como mi padre, gente fiel al Señor, entregado por completo al trabajo de Cristo, gente pulida por el Señor y su Palabra, creo que me han amado tal como amaron a mi padre, nos han apoyaron desde que era misionero en Anapra, una colonia de Cd. Juárez, su ministerio nos cobijo y han estado atentos a nuestras necesidades y han hecho mucho para el avance de la obra que hemos realizado, económicamente, en oración, con materiales, con difusión de nuestro ministerio y de muchas otras formas, a tal punto que nuestros triunfos, nuestros logros, nuestros galardones, son tan de ellos, que a veces no se si me pertenecen, pero gracias a Dios por mis hermanos, espero que me ayuden a orar mucho por ellos, por su salud y su ministerio, y agradezco mucho a todos los que nos han apoyado en oración y económicamente a través de ellos, les pedimos que continúen haciéndolo, recordando que el trabajo en el Señor no es en vano…

And speaking of the fruits I enjoy from the work of my parents, one of them is certainly the love of brother Ernesto and his wife Anita, I truly loved them in the Lord. They are so important in our ministry and leading part in our development as a pastor and missionary, my brother Ernesto was a friend and brother of my father, an important part in the onset and development of the orphanage that my parents opened... and a great heritage from my father. I don’t know how Brother Ernesto sees me, but for me, he is like a father, a man of God, he is completely devoted to the work of Christ, people who have been used by the Lord and His Word. They have supported me since I was a missionary in Anapra, a neighborhood in Juarez, they´ve supported and sheltered us in our needs and have done much to advance the work we have done, financially, in prayer, with materials, spreading our ministry and many other forms. In such a way, that our triumphs, our accomplishments, our awards, are shared joyfully with them. Thank God for my brothers, please help me pray much for them, for their health and ministry and am very grateful to all who have supported us in prayer and financially through them, I ask you to continue to do so, remembering that the work in the Lord is not in vain ...

Pude platicar con la familia Salvador por teléfono, ellos son hermanos dedicados al Señor, como pocos lo han hecho, tienen un ministerio hermoso con gente de la tercera edad, y han sido apoyo en oración y económico de nuestro ministerio, al platicar un poco con la hermana Ruth, me hizo maravillarme del amor de Dios… yo se que ellos día tras día oran por nosotros, pero ella me lo recordó con gran pasión y oro por nosotros por teléfono, que aun ahora que me acuerdo, me hace llorar y recordar a David cuando dijo: quien es el hombre para que tengas de el memoria y el hijo del hombre para que lo visites… gracias Dios pues aunque te fallamos, tu permaneces fie y no nos olvidas…

I had a chance to talk to the Salvador family by phone, they are brothers dedicated to the Lord, as few have done, they have a beautiful ministry with older people, and have been in prayer and financial support for our ministry, talking to sister Ruth made me marvel at the love of God ... I know they pray every day for us, but she encouraged me with great passion and prayed for us over the phone, that even now as I remember, I can cry and remember David as he says: What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?... thank God, for even when we fail, He remains faithful and do not forget us ...

Los hermanos de Rio Racho, nuevamente consiguieron dinero para continuar con el pozo, nosotros habíamos escarbado tres metros, ahora ya tiene trece y se le puso ladrillo desde abajo hasta arriba por seguridad, ya esta dando al derredor de 750 litros por día, pero como el agua esta brotando de abajo, continuamos escarbando, hay una parte muy dura que pareciera que es piedra, pero es tierra tan dura como el cemento, ellos están avanzando con marro y cincel… en esta tierra hay muchas conchas petrificadas y creemos que después de esto habrá bastante agua… gracias mis hermanos de Rio Rancho, gracias por tanto amor, preocupación e interés por este ministerio… y gracias por ser parte de nosotros… con este dinero también compramos una bomba sumergible y todos los aditamentos para que funcione el pozo… en verdad Dios es grande!!!

Once again, Rio Rancho's brothers got the money to continue the well, we had dug three meters, it has now thirteen. Raúl fue un gran apoyo, en el tiempo que estuvo con nosotros, tanto que le extrañamos… el miércoles 12 de octubre, lo lleve al pueblo donde esta empezando su ministerio, este lugar se llama Jitotol, un pueblo que con lo poco que vi, parece ser muy católico, al parecer no hay obra evangélica en el, y no creo que sea por que no se a intentado, mas bien creo que no a prosperado nada, por lo católico que es este pueblo… les pido mucho de sus oraciones por Raúl, el es un joven muy preparado, muy fiel a Dios, con mucha pasión por las almas, y se que aunque parece que el lugar será difícil, Dios le bendecirá, espero que Dios le de gracia ante esa gente a la cual el predicara y muchos conozcan a Cristo…

Rita Paola Saragos Guillen, edad tres años, nació el 18 de Septiembre del 2008, ella junto con sus hermanos Pascual y Jeronimo, pertenecen al municipio de Chilon, su madre murió hace pocos días, ella estaba mal de sus facultades mentales, lo que la llevo a golpear al mas pequeño de ellos y provocarle la muerte… cada uno de ellos traía heridas en diferentes partes del cuerpo, pero gracias a Dios ya están ellos bien.. Rita ya esta yendo al kínder y va muy bien, a ella le gusta mucho la escuela, verse mucho en el espejo y comer…

Jerónimo Saragos Guillen, edad siete años, nació el tres de Abril del 2004, se a desempeñado muy bien en la escuela, le gusta mucho subirse a los arboles, comer las cosas que hay en el campo y todo lo que tiene que ver con la naturaleza, tiene muchas cosas muy buenas a su favor y oramos a Dios que las logra utilizar para su bien y el bien de otros…
Jeronimo Saragos Guillen, seven years old, was born on April 3, 2004, he is doing great in school, loves to climb trees, eat the things on the field and all that has to do with nature, has many great things in his favor and we pray that God may use him for his sake and the good of others...

Pascual Saragos Guillen, edad nueve años, nació el 16 de Mayo del 2002, esta batallando un poco en la escuela (pero le gusta), tal vez porque aun esta aprendiendo español, y dice el profesor que se cohíbe, pero a tenido cambios muy buenos en su conducta, y esperamos que así siga, deseamos realmente que ellos logren muchas cosas y que su vida sea diferente a lo que se les pronosticaba, todo con la ayuda de Cristo… al igual que a su hermano le gusta mucho la naturaleza…

Pascual Saragos Guillen, nine years old, was born on May 16, 2002, is struggling a bit at school (although he likes it), perhaps because he is still learning Spanish and the teacher says he seems confused sometimes, but he has a very good behavior, and we hope that will continue, we really want them to achieve many things and make their life different from what it could have been, all with the help of Christ ... just like his brother, he loves nature ...

José Eduardo Pérez Gómez, edad siete años, nació el 29 de agosto del 2005, como les comentaba el fue golpeado por su madre de una manera brutal, tiene cicatrices en todo el cuerpo, aun no se sabe si el se quedara con nosotros, ya que una tía lo quiere, es un buen chico, solo que es demasiado travieso, en casa hace las travesuras normales, pero fuera se transforma cuando no hay nadie de nosotros con el, en la escuela lo aguantaron solo tres días, y estamos intentando que estudie en otra… oremos mucho por el, si el se llegara a ir de nuestra casa, creo que su futuro no será bueno, su familia fue muy borracha y es lo que el a visto, su tía trabaja en la vida fácil y sabemos que esto no será nada bueno para José…

Olivia Alicia Guzmán Encinos, edad catorce años, nació el 22 de Agosto de 1997, ella esta con nosotros por violencia física, esta creciendo muy rápido y gracias a Dios le gustan las cosas de Dios, se a adaptado muy bien a nosotros y su deseo es el de estar al lado de nosotros, le gustan mucho las cosas electrónicas, empezando con la TV…

Olivia Alicia Guzman Encinos, fourteen years old, was born on August 22, 1997, she is with us because of physical violence, she is growing very fast and thank God, she likes things of God. Olivia adapted well with us and her desire is to remain with us, she really likes electronics, starting with TV ...

Fernanda Gómez Saragos, edad diez años, nació el 24 de Julio del 2001, ella sufrió mucho, y nuestro deseo es el de ayudarle, nos quiere mucho y le gusta sentirse amada, muestra su amor constantemente y nos ve al igual que los demás como sus padres, oren mucho por ella, que continúe como es, una pequeña muy obediente y amorosa y que pueda cada día conocer mas al Señor…

Fernanda Gomez Saragos, ten years old, she was born on July 24, 2001, she suffered much, and our desire is to help her, we love her and she likes to feel loved, she constantly shows affection and she sees us, like the rest of the kids, as her parents, pray a lot for her to continue as she is, a young, obedient girl, who can learn and know God more each day.

Gracias a Dios el hermano Tracy Sexton, pastor de misiones en IPB Brownsville nos visito por 10 días, y fue un gran placer conocerle, la intención de él era mejorar su español,(pero creo que su español es excelente) el nos ayudo a podar el césped, predico en 2 ocasiones en la iglesia, conoció una 2 iglesias en la selva y visitó algunos lugares turísticos de Chiapas, convivió con los niños y la familia, pudimos platicar de varios temas bíblicos y fue en todo gran bendición para nosotros...

Thank God for brother Tracy Sexton, Missions Pastor at First Baptist Church in Brownsville. He visited us for 10 days, it was a great pleasure to meet him, he was here intending to improve his Spanish (but I think his Spanish is excellent), he helped us to prune grass, preached twice at our church, met 2 churches in the jungle and visited some tourist sites in Chiapas, he met the children and family, we talked about various topics throughout the Bible. It all was a graet blessing for us.. .

Esperamos que Dios le bendiga grandemente, y deseamos que regrese dispuesto a tener algunas predicaciones y conferencias en Chiapas, ya que es un excelente predicador y sabemos que sería de gran bendición para muchos en nuestro estado...

Pues ya los niños entraron nuevamente a clases, Rita ya tiene su primer día de clases en el kínder, su español aun no es bueno, pero ya entiende bastante, los demás niños esperamos que se adapten y les guste el estudio, al parecer la escuela es buena, así que confiamos que les irá bien...

Apreciados hermanos, Dios les bendiga y motive nuestras vidas a toda buena obra.

Dear brothers, God bless and encourage our lives to every good work.

Gracias a Dios 9 de los jóvenes de Ocosingo, sirvieron por 6 semanas teniendo clases con niños, en la ciudad estuvieron en 7 diferentes lugares enseñando a mas de 450 niños, después fueron a Oaxaca con el hermano Irvin y trabajaron con niños y jóvenes, fue un tiempo muy hermoso donde aparte de la clases, usaron títeres y payasos, lo cual fue muy bueno tanto para niños como adultos, también estuvieron en Pujiltic y Suchiapa, teniendo un tiempo más de bendición, donde evangelizaron a 330 niños y a varios jóvenes, quienes fueron retados a tener una relación más personal con Dios.

Thank God for 9 young people from Ocosingo served for 6 weeks giving classes for children. they were in 7 different locations teaching over 450 children, then, they went to Oaxaca, and served with brother Irvin. they worked with children and young people, it was a very beautiful time where besides the classes, they used puppets and clowns, that was very good for both children and adults. they were also in Pujiltic and Suchiapa, it was a great blessing, 330 children made a decision and several young people were challenged to have a more personal relationship with God.

Agradezco al Señor por los jóvenes de Ocosingo, ya que han sido un ejemplo de amor por la obra y de dedicación, les pido mucho de sus oraciones para que ellos continúen con este mismo espíritu, y eso motive las vidas de otros.

I thank the Lord for the youth in Ocosingo, as they have been an example of love for their work and dedication. Please pray that they continue in this spirit, and that motivates the lives of others.

Por otro lado, 8 jóvenes que fueron enviados por la junta misionera de la convención en Juárez, trabajaron en Guaquitepec, Tacuba, Tzajala, y Palenque evangelizando a mas de 250 niños, hicieron un trabajo muy grande, con mucha pasión, y nos gozamos y agradecemos a Dios por ellos, era conmovedor ver como las iglesias les tomaron mucho amor y casi les obligaban, a hacer una promesa de regresar el próximo año.

In addition, 8 young people were sent by the mission board of the convention in Juarez. they worked in Guaquitepec, Tacuba, Tzajala and Palenque evangelizing more than 250 children, they did a great job, with passion, and we rejoice and thank God for them, it was touching to see the churches as they took a lot of love and almost forced them to make a promise to return next year.

Mi sobrino Raúl hijo de mi hermana mayor, se integro a este grupo, ayudando también fuertemente en la predicación, fue un placer ver a mi Sabrina Ana, hija de mi hermano Misael, pastor de la iglesia Bautista Peniel en el grupo de Juárez, y ver lo que Dios ha logrado en las vidas de ellos, haciéndolos jóvenes útiles para su obra, preparados y equipados con tantos dones y amor por la obra.

Raul, my nephew, son of my sister, joined the group, helping strongly by preaching, it was a pleasure to see my niece Ana, daughter of my brother Misael, pastor of Peniel Baptist Church in the group of Juarez, and see what God has accomplished in their lives, making them useful for their work with young people, prepared and equipped with many gifts and love for the mission.

Raul es hijo de mi hermana mayor Raquel, quien sirve en un ministerio de mujeres en la cuidad de Juárez, y en un proyecto de un centro comunitario en el estado de Yucatán, mi sobrino tiene el deseo de servir a Dios aquí en el estado de Chiapas, abriendo obra nueva, les pido mucho de sus oraciones por el, que Dios habrá puertas, y le guie cual sea la mejor manera de desarrollar su ministerio y también que el Señor abra puertas para su sostenimiento.

En cuanto a la casa hogar, tenemos un nuevo integrante, José… el tiene 6 años, su madre lo golpeaba salvajemente, tiene incontables marcas pasadas en su cuerpo de heridas pasadas, y traía quemaduras y posibles fracturas de los golpes recientes, tiene otras fracturas que sanaron solas, pero quedaron unidos de una manera no correcta, triste es ver que muchos niños padecen lo que este niño, y mucha gente no reporta este tipo de abuso, la madre de José lo golpeaba, porque se parecía mucho a su antiguo esposo, el padre de José…

Gracias a Dios han sucedido muy buenas cosas para el ministerio, y empezare contando algunas de ellas, en primer lugar hay una excelente noticia, el pastor Si y la Iglesia en Rio Rancho, consiguieron una ayuda para la construcción de la segunda planta, una fundación a la que el pastor Si pertenece, esta donando 45,000 dlls, los cuales de estarán entregando de 15,000 dlls por año, damos gracias a Dios, porque podemos ver su mano en todo, y agradecemos a Él, por el amor y dedicación de los hermanos de Rio Rancho, hacia la obra en Chiapas…

Gracias a Dios este mes ha sido de gran bendición, en primer lugar por la visita de los hermanos de Rio Rancho, siempre es grato sentir el amor de ellos y poder verles.

Thanks to God this month has been of great blessings. First of all because of the visit from the brothers from Rio Rancho, their love is always a gift and to see them again is a blessing.

Nuevamente trabajaron con jóvenes mujeres y niños, trayendo un mensaje especial para la vida de ellos, en esta ocasión llegaron 16 hermanos, y pudieron hacer el trabajo que han hecho años pasados y les dio tiempo para visitar 2 comunidades de nuestra región y regalar ropa a los niños pobres.

Once again they worked with the youth and children, bringing them a special message for their lives. This time we received 16 brothers(and sisters) and they were able to do the same work they've done in years past, they had enough time to visit two communities in our region and give the children some clothes.

El pastor Si, predico en varias ocasiones y en diferentes lugares, estuvo hablando en la radio local de la ciudad, y jóvenes de la iglesia dieron testimonio y consejos a los jóvenes de la ciudad, los hermanos Salinas nuevamente utilizaron el talento tan hermoso que Dios les ha dado en el canto, siempre podemos ver como Dios piensa en nuestra ciudad y en nuestras vidas, el mensaje que trajeron los hermanos y el pastor, fue claramente visto, como un mensaje especial para nuestra ciudad, tanto que después que se fueron, por la radio se siguió hablando del mismo tema y tratando de retomar los puntos que se tomaron.

Pastor Si preached in various occasions and in different places, and spoke on the local radio station. The brothers from "Salinas" once again used they beautiful talent that God has given them for singing. We can always see how God thinks about our community and our lives. The message that the pastor and the brothers brought was clearly given and received as a special message for our city. So much so that even after they left it was still talked about in the radio. Nos alegra saber que el año que entra el pastor Si, si Dios así lo permite estará con nosotros por un mes, perfeccionando su español (que este año fue muy bueno, tanto que no tuvo necesidad de traductor) y predicando y aconsejando en nuestra ciudad, aun no se sabe si el resto del grupo podrán venir el año entrante, ya que ellos trabajan demasiado para juntar los fondos económicos para estos viajes, pero sinceramente deseamos que Dios multiplique lo que ellos dan para la obra de Dios.

We are happy to know that if God is willing, we will have Pastor Si for a month, perfecting his spanish. This year his his Spanish was so good he did not need a translator.He preached and gave counseling in our city.We do not know yet if the rest of the group will come next year, because they have to work very hard to get the funds for these trips. We sincerely hope God will multiply what they give to his work.

Como siempre los hermanos dejaron dinero para continuar con las mejoras del lugar, en este tiempo, gracias a Dios!! Compraron parte de la cerámica que falta en tres cuartos, y dejaron dinero, para comprar lo necesario para instalarla y pagar al instalador, también para comprar literas y colchones, y para pagar la asociación civil, que era el tramite que nos faltaba, para trabajar legalmente como hogar de niños, y como si no fuera suficiente, la familia Salinas dejaron 1000 Dlls, para poder poner la cocina integral, también los hermanos Salinas dieron una ofrenda a una misión indígena, que tienen el deseo de agrandar sus instalaciones, Dios les multiplique en gran manera… es nuestra oración.

As always the brothers left us some money to continue with the improvements to the house, praise God! They bought the ceramic tiles that were missing in the rooms. They left us money to buy what was missing, for the installation and the labor. Also to buy bunk beads and mattresses, and even for the legal paperwork to get the ministry in operation. And as if that was not enough the familly from Salinas left use 1000 dlls. to install the kitchen cabinets, the brothers from Salinas also gave an offering to a local mission of indigenous people who wish to build and extend their facilities. May God richly reward them is our prayer.

Aun cuando ellos estaban con nosotros, las autoridades de una ciudad cercana a la nuestra, nos dijo que había 3 niños que necesitaban, de un lugar, la madre de ellos está enferma de la mente, y el padre tiene tiempo que está en la cárcel, no se sabe exactamente que paso, pero la madre traía uno de sus hijos muerto, no se sabe si lo mato, o se le accidento, mas lo cierto es que ella lo traía como si estuviera vivo, a ella la trasladaron a un lugar sicriatico, y los niños están con nosotros, la pequeña es de 3 años y se llama Manuelita, el que le sigue tiene 6 años y se llama Jerónimo, el mayor tiene 9 años y se llama Pascual, ellos se han adaptado perfectamente, nos llaman papa y mama, aunque no ha sido fácil ya ellos solo hablan Tzeltal, y es difícil la comunicación, como siempre tuvimos que llevarlos al doctor, ya que venían enfermos, y se les tuvo que comprar ropa y zapatos, ya que solo tenían la que traían puesta, ¡gracias Dios!…

Even during the time when the brothers the city authorities told us there had 3 children that needed a place to stay. Their mother is mentally ill and the father is in jail. She was behaving as if the child was alive. She was taken to a mental hospital and the children are with us. The small girl is 3 years old and her name is Manuelita, next there is Jeronimo, and the oldest is 9 years old and is named Pascual. They have adjusted perfectly here, they call us Mother and Father.It is still not easy because they speak Tzeltal (no spanish) and it is hard to communicate. As usual we had to take them to the doctor, they were sick, and we had to buy them shoes and clothes, they only had the clothes on their backs. Thank God for them!

Hoy tenemos en casa a una niña de trece años llamada Olivia, que nos trajeron las autoridades de Ocosingo, ella recibía maltrato físico de su padrastro, y por ahora está bajo nuestra custodia mientras se arregla su situación, cabe la posibilidad de que se quede con nosotros, pero aun no es seguro…

Today we have with us a little girl of thirteen years of age named Olivia, the Ocosingo authorities brought her to us. She was physically abused by her father, for now she is in our care while her situation is resolved. There is the possibility that she may be left with us, but is is not a certainty.

Lo bueno de esto, es que ya se nos está tomando en cuenta, ellos nos pidieron que tuviéramos presencia legal, para ellos poder enviarnos los niños que ellos recogen del municipio, ya empezamos los tramites, y posiblemente en un mes los tendremos, y al parecer con eso mejorará la relación con la autoridades de la cuidad, damos gracias a Dios por eso...

The good in all of this is that we (our ministry) is getting considered, they (the Ocozingo authorities) had asked us to have a legal presence. This is so they can send us children that they pick up from the city (surrendered or abandoned). We have started the paperwork, we expect to have them completed in a month. With this our relationship with the city authorities will improve. We thank God for this.

Con los 500 dlls, que la familia McCollum enviaron, y otro poco que sobro de un dinero de Rio Rancho, y otro tanto que decidimos cargar nosotros, tomamos la decisión de comprar la cerámica para la cocina, el comedor y la sala, y un pacillo, ya que Manuel luna, quien nos vino a instalar 1 baño, y arreglo el lugar para el cuarto de lavado y donde pondremos la purificadora, lo quisimos aprovecha y por eso tomamos esta decisión, ya solo nos faltan los cuartos, pero primeramente Dios, se hara mas adelante... esto fue bueno, ya que las autoridades de Ocosingo, vinieron a revisar la casa, y esto mejoro en cuanto a la presencia de la casa, pensando en la idea que vamos a terminar...

Se instaló la manguera con la cual tendríamos agua potable, y la tuvimos por una semana, ya que el pueblo de donde proviene esta, nos la cortaron por asuntos ajenos a nuestro poblado, pero creemos que pronto se arreglaran, así que tendré que continuar con el pozo, que espero pronto tendré el tiempo para hacerlo...

The pipe we need for our tap water was installed,and we've had water for a week now, the town from where the water comes from decided to cut us off, due to matters not involving us. We hope this situation is resolved soon, but for now we still have to get our water from the well.

Ya estamos haciendo los preparativos, para la visita de Rio Racho, que será en el mes de Marzo, estamos ansiosos por verles y pedimos de sus oraciones, por este tiempo, que Dios los guarde de todo mal y les use enormemente, como lo a hecho en los años anteriores, nos sentimos agradecidos con Dios, por esta gracia, ya que ellos han sido realmente como ángeles de Dios para nosotros, si no fuera porque vimos donde viven, y nos contestan por teléfono, creeríamos que lo son...

Manuel estará un tiempo más con nosotros y regresara a Juárez para casarse, damos gracias al Señor por él, y esperamos que Dios les guie en sus deseos de servirle...

Continuamos, preparando a los misioneros, y esperamos que continúen fieles, y que el Señor haga cosas grandes con sus vidas, y seguimos dispuestos en la predicación y la enseñanza de su Palabra, lo cual a sido un gusto poder estarlo haciendo en algunos cultos y actividades juveniles a las que he sido invitado, a Dios es toda la gloria y honra, y a Él se la tributamos, Dios les bendiga! Les amamos mucho en el Señor…

Queridos hermanos, Dios les bendiga grandemente en este 2011, que el prospere nuestras vidas y nos de paz por todos lados.

Beloved brothers, may God greatly bless you this year 2011, that He will prosper our lives and give us peace from all sides.

Tengo algunas cosas que decir, cosas buenas y otras en las cuales hay que esperar, como para dar un veredicto, pero sabemos ante todo, que a los que amamos a Dios, todas las cosas nos ayudan a bien.

I have a few things to say, some good, some we have to wait and see, before we can judge, we know above all,that God makes all things work for the good of them that love HIM.

Terminamos el año 2010 en la iglesia Betel en ocosingo y allí se espero el 2011 teniendo un bello culto, fue hermoso estar los hermanos juntos, el 14 de enero, llego la mama de los 6 niños, que teníamos en casa, para recogerlos, ya que su esposo salió de la cárcel, es triste verlos ir, pero ahora que ya estaban juntos los padres, ellos deben de hacerse responsables de ellos, pero gracias a Dios les pudimos ayudar en este tiempo.

We finished the year 2010 at the Betel Baptist church in Ocosingo and there we received the new year in a beautiful service. It was a beautiful thing to gather with the saints. On January 14 the mother of 6 children which we had with us at the home. She took them with her because her husband was released from jail. It is said to see them leave but it is good that they are now with both their parents. Now their parents must be responsible for them, but thank God we were able to help them during this time.

También hace unos días fui a una comunidad llamada Patatel, donde un hombre estaba regalando 3 niñas, pero ya no llegamos a tiempo, después fui a otra comunidad llamada Peña limonar, donde hay 3 niños en extrema pobreza, cuando les dijeron que les íbamos a llevar a un lugar donde tendrían comida y zapatos, se emocionaron mucho, porque ya iban a tener zapatos, posiblemente, en semana y media estarán con nosotros, también las autoridades de la ciudad, se comunicaron conmigo, ya que supieron que empezamos con la casa hogar, y parece ser que ya quieren que trabajemos unidos, esto es algo que nos emociona mucho, ya que con ellos tendremos ayuda, sicológica para los niños, medica y jurídica, que es lo que más nos hace falta, ya que la gente desconfía del lugar, dado que aun no podemos mostrarnos como casa hogar, pero si ya nos reconoce la ciudad, pondremos un letrero a la vista, con el cual se identifique el lugar como lo que es, una casa hogar, y sabemos que esto traerá a los necesitados a este lugar.

Also, a few days ago I went to a community called Patatel, where a man was giving away 3 little girls, but we did not arrive in time. Then I went to another community called Peña limonar, where there are 3 small children in extreme poverty, when they told the children that they were going to be taken to a place with food and shoes they were very happy, they will probably be with us in a week and a half. The city authorities got in touch with me and they know we have started the orphanage and is appears they want to work together with us. This is something that makes us quite happy because they could provide help, social workers for the children, medical and legal help, which is what we are lacking the most. Because local people do not trust us (our ministry) yet. Because we can not yet call our selves as an orphanage, but if the city authorities recognize us we can put up a sign. And that will bring the people with needs.

También nos asombramos de todas las cosas que hace Dios, en estos días, se comunicaron con nosotros un grupo de alcolicos anónimos, que tienen un centro en la ciudad, dado que ellos tienen un terreno que querían donar, preguntando por gente altruista, personas les llevaron hasta nosotros, nos conocieron, y visitaros nuestras instalaciones, y tomaron la decisión de donarnos el terreno que tienen, este se encuentra en la ciudad de Ocosingo, sus dimensiones son 17 x 29 metros, el tiene levantado paredes que están preparadas para solo techarse, yo realmente estoy maravillado, y veo la mano de Dios en esto, y esperare a ver qué es lo que Dios termina haciendo de todo esto.

We are also amazed at what God has done these days, an AA group communicated with us, they have a center (office) downtown, and they have a property (land) that they wanted to donate to us. They were asking for people that did community work, some people told them about us. They met us and got a tour of facilities and they decided to donate the land to us. The land is in the city of Ocozingo, it is 17 by 29 meters (1 meter is approximately the same as a yard). The land is walled up and is ready to have a roof installed. I am truly amazed with what God ends up doing.

Por ahora ya compramos la purificadora, y esperamos que pronto pueda ser instalada, la tubería del agua de la cuidad ya casi llega hasta la casa, ya se enterró una manguera mas de 300 metros, solo falta la otra mitad, y primeramente Dios, tendremos agua en casa, el trabajo del pozo por el tiempo de navidad y fin de año se suspendió, pero primeramente Dios lo continuaremos en estos días, ahora se está poniendo loseta en parte de la casa, y esto mejorara la apariencia del lugar.

We have now bought the water purifier, and we hope to install it soon. Th city's water supply has almost arrive to our address. The city has put in a pipe of about 300 meters, now we are missing only he other half. God willing we will have water in the house. We continue the work on the well during Christmas time, but stopped for new year's but God willing we will continue the work these days. Now we are having flooring in part of the house. This will improve the appearence of the home.

Gracias a Dios, pudimos entregar regalos a niños de la iglesia Maranata, en Suchiapa, en una misión en San Cristóbal de las casas, en una comunidad llamada Villa las Rosas y en Lacandon, esperamos en Dios también poder ir a Zapata, meditando en estos regalos que las iglesias de USA, preparan para los niños, se entiende por qué Dios les bendice tanto… ya que siempre están pensando en los pobres, Dios les multiplique tanto amor.
Thank God we were able to bring gifts to the children of the Maranata church, at Sichiapa. In a mission at San Cristobal de las casas, in the community called Villa las Rosas and in Lacandon. We were hoping in the Lord to go to Zapata. Thinking about the gifts that the churches in the US prepared for the children, we understand why God has blessed them so much, they are always thinking about the poor. May God multiply so much love.

Les pido que continúen orando por nosotros, ya que continuamos capacitando a los jóvenes para la evangelización de la niñez, visitando unas comunidades, y ahora también preparando lo necesario para la venida, de la Iglesia en Rio Rancho NM, no se cansen de orar, ya que sabemos que Dios está dispuesto a escuchar las oraciones de los justos.

Informe del mes de Diciembre -- Report for December

Queridos hermanos, Dios les bendiga en todo siempre.
Tengo muchas noticias que decir, y pido mucho de sus oraciones.
Gracias a Dios, desde el lunes 6 de diciembre los hermanos de la iglesia, están viniendo por grupos, para trabajar en la excavación de un pozo, ya llevamos 3 metros de profundidad, y confiamos en Dios que pronto nos de agua, les pedimos de sus oraciones, gracias a Dios no me está costando la excavación, pero si me costará, la protección de cemento que hay que ponerle, para evitar derrumbes.
También es posible que, en este mes o el mes de enero, este lista el agua que se está trayendo de un manantial, si esto se logra, tendré que comprar como 600 metros de manguera para agua, y pagar gente para que hagan zanjas para enterrarla y traerla hasta la casa.
Dear brothers, may God bless you always. I have many things to say and I ask for your prayers. Thanks be to God, the brothers from the church are taking turns by group and coming here to work on the well. We have reach 3 yards dept, and we trust in God that He will soon give us water. Finalmente, gracias a Dios, ya recibimos los primeros niños en casa, son 3 niñas, 1 niño, y una bebe. Estos niños con su madre, vivían cerca de palenque, al papá lo metieron en la cárcel, y por esta causa a ellos les quemaron su casa en el pueblo de donde vivían, ellos emigraron a Ocosingo, y unas personas les dejaron vivir en un cuarto sin ventanas ni puertas, ella lavaba ropa para ganarse la vida, a Magvis le hablaron de ellos, y fue a visitarles, el piso del cuarto era de tierra, y ellos se dormían sobre un pedazo de plástico, con solo 2 cobijas para taparse, todos los niños están enfermos de tos, así que les llevo mi esposa al médico, y les compro medicamento, la bebe esta deshidratada y desnutrida, la doctora nos dijo que si no empezaba a comer bien, la bebe podía morir, al parecer la madre no podía darle leche dado su mala alimentacion, solo le daba atole y agua de arroz, lógicamente la pobreza en la que vivían, les impedía comer como es debido (cuando había algo para comer) y les llevaba a vivir de una manera insalubre.
Finally thank God, we have received the first children in to our home, they are 3 girls and 1 boy. These children and their mother lived near Palenque. The father was jailed, and for that reason the people burnt their home in the town were they lived. The moved to Ocosingo, some people allowed them to live in a room without windows or doors.She washed clothes to make a living, someone told Magvis (my wife) about them, and she went to visit them. The floor was dirt, they slept on a piece of plastic, they shared 2 blankets. All the children were sick, coughing, so my wife took them to see the doctor and bought them medicine. The baby girl was dehydrated and malnourished and the doctor said that if she did not start eating well she would die. The mother could not breast feed her due to her own bad nutrition. The baby only got rice water and a maiz based beverage. This is all the mother could provide due to their extreem poverty, so they eat when they could and lived in a vey un-healthy way.

Por ahora necesitaremos comprarles, ropa, zapatos, los artículos de limpieza, tendré que hacer una bodega provisional de madera, para guardar mis cosas en el techo de mi casa y desocupar el cuarto donde ahora están, y así tener otro cuarto disponible para recibir más niños, ya que hay unos niños que los quieren traer, por que se quedaron sin madre, y viven en una pobreza extrema, y también en el territorio zapatista, me están invitando para ir a visitar mas niños que están en el abandono, lo cierto es que en este territorio, es donde está el más alto índice de marginación y pobreza extrema.

Confiamos en Dios y estamos seguros, que cuando el abre puertas, las abre con todo lo necesario, así que el dará todo lo que nos falta.

But now we need to buy them clothes, shoes, cleaning suplies, I will have to make a provisional storage shed out of wood to keep the suplies, in the roof of our house. Then I can take stuff out of the room they are using. and to have more room to receive more children. There are other children that we want to bring in, they lost their mother and live in extreem poverty. They also live in "Zapatista" controlled territory were we have the highest index of poverty.

We trust in God and know that when He opens the doors he does so providing everything that is necessary. So He will suply all we need.

Los hermanos de Rio Rancho, consiguieron el dinero para una purificadora de agua, yo ya envié una muestra del agua que usaremos, y están por decirme que tipo de equipo es el que necesitamos y el costo de este, estoy en espera y confió que pronto nos lo enviaran.

Continuamos con las cosas que faltan en la casa, Gracias a Dios la iglesia en Rio Rancho envió mas dinero, y con el hemos avanzado con la banqueta al derredor de la casa, y ya parece que los asentamientos han cesado, y pues estos 2 meses he estado al pendiente del trabajo con los albañiles, y gracias a Dios ya terminaron la banqueta, agradecemos mucho a Dios por esta bendición.
También ya tenemos el material para ponerle la loseta a la cocina y al baño que faltaba.

We continue to work on the things that are missing around the house, thank God the Rio Rancho church sent more money and with that money we have aded to the sidewalk around the house. It seams that the sinking in the ground has ended. That is why the workers were stopped for two months. They have now finished the sidewalk. We thank God for this blessing.

Las lluvias en nuestra área han cesado un poco, en varias partes de Chiapas los ríos crecieron mucho y se desbordaron trayendo destrucción y en algunos lugares muertes, también hubo derrumbes, en los cuales desaparecieron casas y personas, tal vez las muertes por estas lluvias no fueron superiores a 35 personas.
The rain in our area has stopped for a bit, in many parts of Chiapas the water levels in the rivers has increased, they have overflowed and this have brought some destruction and a few deaths. Some houses and some people have disappeared. Perhaps the deaths due to the rain were no more than 35 people.

En la comunidad de Tacuba Nuevo, un hermano perdió su casa y una hermana de la iglesia se la llevo la creciente del rio, en Yajalon fue uno de los lugares donde murieron algunas personas por el rio que cruza la ciudad y hermanos de pulpitillo que asistieron a las conferencias en Chilon, algunos perdieron sus casas.
In the Tacuba Nuevo community, a brother lost his house and a syster from the church was swept away by the current of a swollen river.In Yajalon a few people died because of the river crosses the middle of the city, and brothers from pulptillo, which attended the conferences in Chilon, lost their homes.

Gracias a Dios, siguiendo el ejemplo que nuestros hermanos de Rio Rancho han dado a la ciudad de Ocosingo, los jóvenes que participaron en el trabajo misionero del verano pasado, aceptaron el reto de esforzarse, capacitándose todos estos meses, hasta llegar el verano, y juntando fondos para que el próximo mes de agosto, si Dios lo permite podamos salir más lejos, o ayudar a alguna iglesia o misión de una manera más fuerte, y doy gracias a Dios por el apoyo del Pastor Manuel Domínguez, ya que también la iglesia se involucro, y posiblemente después, la misma iglesia estará encaminándose a lo mismo, con el fin de realizar viajes misioneros, apoyando así a lugares que lo necesiten, les pedimos de sus oraciones para que esto se logre y mucho sea motivados a hacer lo mismo.
Thanking God and following the example that our brothers from Rio Rancho gave the city of Ococingo, the youth decided to train for the next few months and raise funds for the missionary work in August. If God permits this time we can go farther or help a church or a mission to a greater extent. I thank God for the support given by Pastor Manuel Dominguez, their church got involved in our work and perhaps their church will also do the same program, making missionary trips, supporting other churches that need it. We ask you to pray for these plans to come to pass and that many will be motivated to do the same.

Continuamos tratando de apoyar algunas misiones, y estamos viendo la posibilidad de abrir una clase de niños, en una comunidad llamada Campo Alegre, donde viven los trabajadores que hicieron la banqueta, este pueblo dejo de ser zapatista, y aun la mayoría de la gente es católica, pero primeramente Dios, estos jóvenes tienen la intención de abrir su hogar, para tener estas clases.
We continue to try and support some missionaries, and we are looking in to opening a class for children, in a community called Campo Alegre, where the workers that made the sidewalk at our house live. This community stopped supporting the Zapatista movement, despite the fact that most of them are catholic. Even so, God willing, these young men are willing to pen their home to have these classes for children.

La comunidad de Villa las Rosas, continua deseando que vayamos a capacitarles y que apoyemos su misión, la distancia a este lugar es de 4 horas, pero ese no es el problema mayor, lo que sucede es que ellos se apartaron de la iglesia madre ya que el pastor cometió adulterio y no quiere solucionar su situación, y yo soy conocido en ambos lugares, así que si deseo apoyar la misión, tendré primero que hablar con la iglesia y el pastor, es mucha la necesidad en esta comunidad, tanto espiritual como material, pero a la misma vez, está un poco complicada la situación, pero dejaremos que Dios guie en este asunto.
The Villa las Rosas community, continue requesting that we continue to support their mission and to train them. They are located 4 hours away, but this is not the main problem, the problem is that they separated them selfs from the main( mother) church and their pastor committed adultery and he does not want to repent and remedy his situation. I am known in both churches, and if I want to cooperate with the church at Villa las Rosas I need to talk to the church and their pastor. There is a lot of need in that church, material and spiritual needs. At the same time, the situation is complicated, but we will let God lead us in that.

He tenido que dejar de dar clases en el instituto Semni, ya que me estaba siendo difícil el ir a todas las clases, pero primeramente Dios veremos más adelante si regreso, mas gracias a Dios ya empezamos a capacitar a los jovenes de la iglesia que participaran como misioneros el verano entrante, cada viernes tengo 3 horas para impartirles enseñanza.
Circumstances have forced me to stop giving my class at the Semni Institute, it was becoming dificult for me to make all the classes. But God willing we will see later if I can return. But thank God that we have already began training the youths at church as summer missionaries, for next summer. I train them for 3 hours every Friday.

Pablito ya está yendo al Kínder, a veces llora al entrar, pero sale muy contento, estamos viendo la posibilidad de vender una de las 2 camionetas que tenemos de 6 cilindros, para comprar un carro más pequeño, ya que la escuela está en Ocosingo y solo en gasolina gastamos 2000 pesos al mes, nada más para llevarle a la escuela.
Plablito has started Kindergarden already. Sometimes he cries when we leave him at his class, but he returns very happy. We are looking to sell one of the 6 cylinder trucks to buy a smaller automobile. The school is in Ocosingo and gasoline is costing us 2000 pesos (about 20 dollars) per month, just to take him to school.

Regreso de los misioneros - Return of the missionaries

Queridos hermanos, Dios les bendiga!
Gracias a Dios los grupos de misioneros ya regresaron, y fue un tiempo de gran bendición, ellos trabajaron con grupos de niños, teniendo en unas iglesias 70 niños y en otras 150, también el trabajo juvenil que desarrollaron fue de gran impacto.
Dear brothers, God bless you!
Thank God that the groups of missionaries have returned, and it was a time of blessing. They worked with groups of children, they had 70 children in attendance in some churches and in others 150, the work they did amongst the youth made an impact.

Para mí fue realmente especial este año, ya que los jóvenes regresaron muy motivados, pudiera decirles que fue tal vez, algo parecido al regreso de los 70, cuando comentaban con Jesús, los sucesos del trabajo misionero, de cómo aun los demonios se les sujetaban, bueno pues estos jóvenes, fueron usados por el Señor de una manera extraordinaria, uno de ellos comento que no era digno de ver las cosas que les estaban sucediendo.
For me, this year was really special because the young missionaries returned very motivated, I could say that perhaps, this was similar to the return of the 70, when they spoke to Jesus about the events of the missionary work, about how the demons where subject to them. Well then theses young people were used by the Lord in an extraordinary way, one of them commented that he was not worthy of seeing the things that were happening.

Después tuvimos un culto de clausura, donde hablaron de sus experiencias, dando testimonio de algunas cosas que el tiempo corto del servicio les permitió compartir, fue un culto de verdad emotivo, y creo que va a traer muy buenos frutos.
Latter we were at closing service, there they spoke about their experiences, giving testimony of a few things that the short time at the service allowed. The service was emotional and I believe there will be some good fruits

Les pido que continúen orando por estos jóvenes, Felipe el misionero de Juárez ya regreso a continuar sus estudio en el seminario, y una joven de 17 años de la iglesia, llamada Adriana, hija única, teniendo ya solo a su madre y su abuela, decidió irse al seminario, y les pido también que oren mucho por ella, los demás jóvenes están tan motivados que desean empezar trabajar desde ya para juntar fondos para que el próximo año, por si algunos de ellos pidieran ir más lejos, lo cual doy gracias a Dios, por que el pone tanto el querer como el hacer, y confió en Dios, que varios de ellos serán llamados por Dios a su servicio, y motivaran con su pasión, a varios niños a hacer lo mismo.

I ask of you that you continue praying for these young people. Felipe the missionary from Juarez has returned to continue his studies in seminary. A young lady of 17 years from the church, named Adriana, only child who only has her mother and grandmother for support decided to go to seminary, please pray for her. The young people were so motivated that they decided to start working and gather money for next year, some of they have decided to go even further, for which I thank God. La familia Salvador, del el Paso Tx. La Hermana Ruth ha tenido varios problemas de salud, y últimamente está enfrentando uno más serio, que al parecer es cáncer, ellos han servido muchos años al Señor, en diferentes partes, en Juárez y el paso han desarrollado ministerios con gente de la tercera edad, ministerio en el cual tuvimos el privilegio de apoyar, en el tiempo que vivimos en Juárez.

The Salvador familly in El Paso TX. Siste Ruth has various health problems, and recently she is going through a serious one, it appears to be cancer. They have served the Lord for may years, in different places, in Juarez and in El Paso they have served in ministries for the elderly. We had he privilege of supporting them in these ministries when we lived in Juarez.

El hermano Hal Cook y su esposa, el hermano tiene años luchando con el cáncer, ellos son personas muy especiales para nosotros, son gente que ama la obra de una manera ejemplar, tienen pasión por ella, y se conmueven y actúan por cualquier necesidad, gente muy amada, y unos de los que se comprometieron en oración y apoyo a nuestro ministerio, así que mucho tienen que ver ellos en los logros de nuestro ministerio, gracias Dios!

Brother Hal Cook and his wife, the brother has for years fought cancer, they are very special people for us. They love the Lord's work in an exemplary way. They are passionate about it they are moved and act ti help any need. They are very loved people. They are very comited to praying for our ministry and to support it also. They have a big part in the fruit or our ministry. Thank God for them!

El hermano Ernesto y su esposa Ana, ellos también tienen varios problemas de salud, por demás ustedes saben del trabajo que ellos realizan, y el apoyo que son para nuestro ministerio, y el amor que nos une, el cual empezó con mi padre, y a bien a tenido Dios, poner ese mismo amor hacia nosotros, por favor no se cansen de orar.
Brother Ernesto and his wife Ana, they also have various health problems, you all know very well the work that he does and the way they support our ministry. Por Magvis, Verónica y Pablito... Magvis continúa con problemas de quistes, esta vez fue al hospital por chequeos de un quiste que tiene en el lado izquierdo de su nariz, y resulto que le detectaron muchos más, pero aun no se le pueden tratar, dado la inflamación que tiene, pero la enviaron con un alergólogo, y si se le desinflama, tal vez la podrían operar.

For Magvis, Veronica and Pablito...Magvis continues to have problems with cysts, this time she went to the hospital because she got a cyst on the left side of her nose. They detected many more but she can not be treated right now because of the inflammation, she was sent to the allergist,if the inflammation goes down, they might operate.

Pablo su problema de anginas, sigue siendo severo, también lo llevaremos al alergólogo, y confiamos en Dios que todo salga bien.

Gracias a Dios, regreso el primer grupo de misioneros y estuvieron en al campamento de la Iglesia Betel, así que por esa semana, suspendimos el trabajo, pero esta semana continuamos y 15 jóvenes, salieron para trabajar en Suchiapa, Pujiltic y Villa flores, confiamos que Dios estará con ellos, usándoles en su obra.
We thank God because the first team of misionaries has returned and they attended Betel Church's camp. Because if their arrival we suspended the work we are doing but this week we will continue and these 15 young people went to work to Suchiapa, Pujiltic and Villa Flores, we trust that God will be with them and will use them in His work.

Gracias a Dios este mes de Julio, recibimos a Felipe Carrillo, un joven hijo de un pastor de una Iglesia bautista en Juárez, la convención regional de Juárez, lo envió para estar con nosotros por espacio de tres semanas, y posteriormente se irá a Guatemala.
Thank God we received Felipe Carillo, this month of July, he is young son of a pastor of one of the churches in Juarez, from the Juarez regional convention of baptist churches. They sent him to be with us for 3 weeks and then to go to Guatemala.

En su primer semana sirvio, llevando temas a los jóvenes y siendo ejemplo de una vida dedicada al Señor.
During his first week, he served teaching the youth and being an example of a life dedicated to the Lord

También apoyo la escuela bíblica en la iglesia Betel, atendiendo a los adolecentes, llevando los temas y las manualidades.
He also helped the vacation bible school at Bethel church, teaching teenagers about bible classes and arts and crafts.

La segunda semana, estuvo con tres jóvenes, teniendo otra escuela bíblica en una comunidad, y haciendo trabajo juvenil y predicando la palabra a los adultos, en esta tercer semana nos a ayudado en el trabajo físico, lo cual para mí a sido otra gran bendición, ya que es mucho el trabajo que hay en casa, la semana entrante se irá con dos señoritas de Ocosingo rumbo a Guatemala, para continuar el trabajo con niños jóvenes y adultos.
The second week he worked along with another 3 young persons in another vacation bible school of a near by community, teaching the youth and preaching the word of God to the adults. This third week he helped us doing some physical labor, which is of blessing to me personally, because there is a lot of work o be done at the house. Next week he and a couple of other ladies will leave for Guatemala to continue his work with young people and adults

Gracias a Dios empezó el tiempo de lluvias y el clima se ha puesto un poco más fresco, en nuestra casa hay mucho lodo fuera y se nos va la luz de vez en cuando por la lluvia, pero aun con todo es un lugar del cual disfruto mucho.

Pablo a estado enfermo de tos y continua enfermo de sus anginas, Magvis continua yendo al hospital por lo de un nódulo que tiene en su rostro y por su problema con la alergia, últimamente tiene que ir a revisarse un dolor que le ha estado dando en el pecho y ha empezado con problemas de la presión, al parecer Verónica y yo, somos los que estamos más sanos.

Pablo has a bit of caught and have pain in his throat. Magvis continues to go to the hospital she has a small lump in her face and she has allergies also. Lately she has to get checked up because of a pain in her chest and she is having problems with her blood pressure. It seams that Veronica and my self are the healthiest at the moment

Continuo dando clases en el instituto Cenmi en ocosingo, y he visitado a una comunidad llamada Villa las rosas, los cuales desean que les ayude con predicaciones, campañas, y estudios.

Visite nuevamente al pastor Samuel y su familia, el hermano nuevamente tiene esposa, la hija mayor continua con su esposo e hijos, la que le sigue se fue con su esposo a Palenque junto con Benjamin el cual trabaja en un hotel, con el hermano quedaron las tres pequeñas, la más chica le dice mama a su madrastra y la quiere mucho, la más grande de las tres tiene una bola en su cuerpo que a veces le duele y en ocaciones se pone muy pálida, posiblemente este mes la llevaremos a que la revise un doctor.

I visited Pastor Samuel and his family once again, the brother has his wife again, and the eldest daughter continues with her husband and children. The next eldest daughter moved to Palenque along with her husband who works at a hotel. The three youngest daughters remain with the Brother Samuel. The youngest daughter calls Pastor's new wife (her step-mother) "mom" and she loves her very much! Of the three youngest daughters, the eldest has a "lump" in her body that pains her sometimes and on occasion she turns pale, we might take her to the hospital this month to have her checked by a doctor.

Este mes empezaré a visitar las iglesias para el trabajo juvenil misionero de verano, posiblemente de ciudad Juárez vendrán 2 jóvenes a apoyar el trabajo misionero por 1 mes, y espero trabajar con unos 20 jóvenes este verano, los cueles irán en el mes de Julio a las comunidades a trabajar con niños y jóvenes, les pido mucho de sus oraciones por esto, que Dios nos prospere en todo, para que esto se lleve a cabo.

This month I started to visit the churches to promote the "summer missionaries" program, perhaps 2 young people will come from Juarez to help in the program for 1 month. I hope to work with some 20 young people this summer, which will go to work in the communities with children and young people this summer. I ask for your prayers for this, a lot of prayer. That God will prosper all of these plans.

También posiblemente en Julio vendrá un grupo de hermanos de la tercera edad de ciudad Juárez, ellos han orado mucho por nuestro ministerio y desean venir a conocerlo y servir en el tiempo que estén aquí, oro mucho al Señor que habrá puertas para que este viaje se lleve a cabo.

Perhaps in July another group of Elderly people will come from Juarez also, they have prayed a lot for our ministry and they want to come and see it in person and to help in the time they are here. I am praying a lot to our Lord so that the doors will open for this to happen.

Continuamos haciendo trabajos en casa, por fuera estamos arreglando el patio, el pasto está muy grande y poco a poco estamos dándole un mejor aspecto afuera, continuamos haciendo la casa para la familia que vendrán a vivir con nosotros, ya pronto nos pondrán la protección en las ventanas, y posiblemente en agosto ya tendremos agua potable en casa, ya pusimos unas puertas que faltaban en unos cuartos dentro de la casa, y el carpintero pronto nos instalara los closets de los cuartos.

We continue to work in the house. We are working on the patio, trimming the grass and giving it a good look on the exterior. We continue to build the house for the family that will come and live with us, soon they will add the protection in the windows. Perhaps in August we will have drinking water. We have installed some doors that were mission in some rooms. The carpenter will soon install some closets in the rooms

Hemos estado viendo algunos casos de niños que tienen necesidad, en Comalapa hay 3 niños que están siendo explotados por el padrastro, y ojala la madre los recoja, ella dice que no los puede sostener, así que esperamos a ver qué sucede con estos niños, hay otro niño de Ocosingo que su madre toma mucho, el niño tiene 3 años y vive de una manera muy triste, estamos viendo la necesidad que hay y estamos listos para empezar con unos 6 - 8 niños.

We have seen the need of some children, in Comalapa there are 3 boys that are being exploited by their step-father and we hope the mother will take them, she says that she can not support them. So we wait to see what will happen with these boys. There is another boy in Ocosingo that has an alcoholic mother, he is 3 years old and the way he lives is very sad. We see the need and we are ready to star with 6 to 8 children.

Ya me entregaron 2 constructores, sus presupuestos para la segunda planta, así que les pido de sus oraciones para que esta construcción se pueda llevar a cabo, y que Dios provea de todo lo necesario.

Este mes nos visitaron las primas Maricela, Marta y el joven Quinn, ellos vinieron a visitarnos y conocer un poco el estado, fue un tiempo un poco caliente para ellos, pero a nosotros fue bello conocerlos, tienen un carácter muy hermoso, y esperamos volverlas a ver pronto.

Hace rato recibí una llamada de mi hijo Raúl. El estudia en un seminario en el valle de Juárez. El seminario esta situado a unos pocos kilómetros de Porvenir. Los habitantes de Porvenir han sido “notificados” por el cartel que deben abandonar sus casas o sino serán muertos o secuestrados. Muchas familias ya han abandonado el pueblo. Anoche un comando armado trato de incendiar el templo católico pero solo logró dañar la puerta. Sin embargo hace unos días quemaron algunas casas y camiones. Durante marzo más de 50 personas del Valle fueron asesinadas

A moment ago I received a call from my son Raul. He studies in a seminary in the valley of Juarez. The seminary is located a few kilometers from Porvenir. The inhabitants of Porvenir have been notified by the cartel that they have to leave their homes, otherwise they will be killed or kidnaped. Many families have abandoned the town. Last night an armed commando tried to set fire to a church, but they only bunt the door. Never the less recently they had recently set fire to some houses and some buses. During the month of March more than 50 people from the valle de Juarez were assassinated.

Mi hijo me dijo que los directores del seminario les pidieron que conserven la calma y que deben tratar de estar dentro de los edificios la mayor parte del tiempo. Van a estar al pendiente y darán instrucciones según sean necesarias. Fueron informados por la policía que andaban buscando a unos miembros del cartel que se habían escondido cerca del seminario.
My son told me that the directors of the seminary asked tome to stay calm and that thy should stay inside the buildings as much as possible. They are gong to be alert and give instructions as needed. They were informed by the police that they were looking for some members of the cartel that were hiding near the seminary.

En este mes de Marzo, estuvieron los hermanos de la Iglesia de Rio Rancho, llegaron desde el 12 y regresaron el 21, fue un tiempo de mucha bendición para varias personas de Ocosingo, ellos estuvieron trabajando en 2 iglesias de la ciudad, donde hablaron con mujeres, jóvenes, adolecentes y niños.

From March 12 to 21, the brothers and sisters from the Church of Rio Rancho were with us. It was a time of great blessing to many people of Ocosingo. They were working in 2 churches in the city, where they spoke with women, youth, adolescents and children.

Por su lado el Pastor Si Budager, predico en varias ocasiones hablando mayormente a los matrimonios, y dando consejería a las parejas que lo necesitaran, por las mañanas estuvo en la radio local, hablando a los matrimonios y aconsejando, por este medio a algunas personas, fue doloroso escuchar de tantos problemas que la gente de Ocosingo está viviendo dentro de sus hogares, pero gracias a Dios que en Cristo hay esperanza.

On the other hand Pastor Si Budager preached on several occasions talking mostly to married couples. He also gave counseling to couples who requested it. In the mornings, he was on a local radio station talking about having a healthy marriage and counseling.
It was painful to hear about so many problems that people of Ocosingo are living in their homes, but thank God that in Christ there is hope.

Nuevamente tuvimos un culto donde se invito a la ciudad a asistir, el pastor Si hablo de los problemas que enfrentamos y comento que era tiempo de parar, y reto a los presentes a ser esa generación que se detiene, y para el estilo pecaminoso de vivir, proveyendo así algo mejor para los pequeños.

We had worship services to which the town people where invited to attend. Pastor Si
talked about the problems we face and commented that it was time to stop evil. He challenged those present to be the generation that stops the sinful style of living, thus providing something better for the children.

Gracias a Dios asistieron a estas actividades varias personas y se fueron bendecidas por el mensaje que les fue predicado, hubo varias decisiones por Cristo, y algunas de estas personas se están añadiendo a las iglesias donde se trabajo, ¡Alabado sea el Señor!

Thank God many people attended these activities and were blessed by the messages that were preached. There were several decisions for Christ, and some of these people are being added to the churches that participated. Praise the Lord!

Fue impresionante escuchar a la hermana Rita Case, comentarnos las dificultades que tuvieron para venir, y como enfrentaron aun ciertos peligros, y mencionó que aun no habían regresado, así que no sabían que les esperaría de regreso, pero que todo lo soportarían por amor a Cristo y por su amor a la gente de Chiapas. ¡Doy muchas gracias a Dios por este ejemplo de amor y de fe!

It was amazing to listen to Sister Rita Case. She told us about the difficulties they had to come, and even faced certain dangers. It just touched my heart to see her love for Christ and the people of Chiapas. God, I thank you very much for Rita’s example of love and faith!

También trabajaron en lo físico, pintando por fuera nuestra casa y haciendo una división en uno de los cuartos, movieron varias tablas que había cerca de la casa, ayudando así en la limpieza del terreno.

They made time to work painting the outside of our house and doing a division in one of the rooms. They also helped tiding up the backyard.

Agradecemos también a Dios por mi hermano Alejandro, pastor de una iglesia Bautista en San Cristóbal de las Casas, quien vino con el firme deseo de ayudarnos en este tiempo, ¡Dios le bendiga! Y también al hermano Alfredo García, pastor de una iglesia en el puerto de Veracruz, el nos ayudo enormemente con la traducción que en ocasiones necesito el Pastor Si, y su esposa Barbara, su hija Betani y la hermana Alma Rosa miembro de la iglesia del hermano Alfredo, quien les acompaño, ellas ayudaron a Magvis en la cocina, preparando los alimentos para el grupo. Gracias a cada uno de ellos por su servicio, apoyo, amor y amistad, ¡Dios les colme de grandes bendiciones!

Gracias a Dios, en el mes de Enero, Pablito cumplió 3 años, tuvimos una comida familiar, con 2 familias de la iglesia, Pablo pudo romper su piñata, lo cual es una gran atracción para el, el continua creciendo, sigue siendo un niño muy activo, le gusta mucho hablar por teléfono, y ya se la pasa preguntando por todo.

During the month of January we celebrated the 3rd. Birthday of Pablito. We had a family meal with two families from the church. Pablito had a piñata which is a great attraction to him. He is growing a lot and is very active. He likes to talk on the phone and asks many questions.

Mi esposa y yo, cumplimos ya 13 años de casados este mes de febrero, y pedimos a Dios que si nos da mas tiempo de vida, lo pódanos usar sirviéndole y sirviendo a otros.

This month my wife and I are also celebrating our 13th. Wedding anniversary. Our prayer to our Lord is if He gives us more years to spend them serving Him.

Los hermanos de Rios Rancho, ya están preparando maletas, para venir a Chiapas, en el mes de Marzo, si Dios lo permite viene un grupo de 24 hermanos, 6 de ellos dispuestos a trabajar en lo físico, y el resto enseñando a los niños, adolecentes y jóvenes y a las mujeres, el año pasado hicieron un gran trabajo y seguros estamos que se volverá a repetir, el pastor Si, nuevamente viene con el grupo y ya tenemos preparado bastante trabajo para el, predicara a 2 iglesias, y a la ciudad, les pedimos que estén orando por esto, que el Señor nos bendiga y asista mucha gente y muchos sean alcanzados, por la Palabra de Dios.

The brethren from Rio Rancho are getting ready to pack their luggage to come to Chiapas next month. We are expecting 24 people, 6 of them to do construction labor and the rest teaching children, youth and ladies. Last year they did an amazing job and we are sure it will be the same again. Pastor Si is also coming and we are preparing many opportunities for him to preach. He will be preaching in two different churches and to the people of the city. We ask you to be praying for the blessing of God and to have an extraordinaire attendance listening and being touched by the Holy Spirit.

Mi hermana Raquel, nos esta visitando en este mes, ella vino a un viaje misionero al estado de Yucatán, el ministerio en el que ella sirve, están por construir un centro comunitario, para servicio de la comunidad de Chemax, damos gracias a Dios por su visita.

Mi sister Raquel is visiting us this week. She was serving with her ministry organization in Yucatan. They have plans to build a community center in Chemax. We are grateful to God for her visit.

Ya se reanudaron las clases en el instituto Cenni en Ocosingo, y en la iglesia Betel en donde asisto, esta también por empezar un instituto local, y próximamente estamos por hablar con las comunidades de Tacuba, Zapata y Zahala, para empezar una serie de materias que les ayudaran para mejorar, su servicio a Dios.

We have started again the Bible classes at the Cenni Institute in Ocosingo and at the Bethel Church, which I attend. We have plans to start a series of subjects in Tacuba, Zapata and Zahala to help them improve their service to God.

Estoy por ir a algunas comunidades, a hablar con algunos hermanos, con el fin de encontrar algún matrimonio que desee venirse a vivir con nosotros, porque yo necesito integrarme nuevamente al trabajo de capacitación en las comunidades.

Please pray for a couple to come live with us. This is crucial for us because it will allow me to travel again training others. At this moment we can not leave the property unattended.

Gracias a Dios, el 20 del mes pasado, nos venimos a vivir a la nueva casa, fue mucho trabajo mover todas las cosas, pintar la nueva casa y aun no terminamos de dejarla lista, gracias a la ofrenda de Rio Rancho, ya tenemos electricidad en casa, tenemos una cisterna de 12,000 litros, donde nos la están llenando cada 15 días, todas las mañanas, nos podemos despertar con el canto de las aves y el cantar de varios loros que vienen a visitar nuestro arboles, gracias a Dios esta casa es una gran bendición.

January 20 was the day we finally moved to our new house. It was a lot of work moving in, painting and doing many other things. Thanks to a generous offering from Rio Rancho Church we now have electricity in the house. We also have water tank for 12,000 liters. It is different waking up to the sounds of birds and nature. We are so grateful to God for this house.

Estamos tratando de acondicionar 2 cuartos, para empezar a recibir niños, posiblemente podremos empezar con 8 ó 10 niños, solo tenemos que cumplir con las reglas de seguridad que se nos pide.

We are trying to get ready two rooms to start welcoming children into our home. The plan is to begin with 8 to 10 children. We still have to comply with safety requirements from the children’s city agency.

Agradecemos a Dios en todo, por la fidelidad de varios hermanos, en sus oraciones, y apoyo económico, por ayudas como la de la iglesia donde esta asistiendo la familia del hermano Leon Moore, familia hermosa en el evangelio, por el cobijo de la iglesia de Rio Rancho, por la fidelidad de la iglesia en Boy City, en Kurten, los que continuan apoyando por medio del ministerio GMTC, y el ministerio Worth of Truth, los amigos de Houston que oran y están al pendiente de nosotros, la iglesia de canutillo, de el paso Texas y tantos que están orando por nosotros, que seria difícil de mencionar, gracias por su confianza, amor y paciencia.

We praise God for all He does for us, for the faithfulness of several brothers and sisters in Christ in prayers and support. For the church, which the family of Bro. Leon Moore attends, and its support to our ministy. So grateful for the Boise City Church in Kurten and for the ones that continue supporting through GMTC and Word of Truth. Our friends in Houston who pray and care for us. The church in Canutillo and El Paso, Tx and so many others who pray for us and it is impossible to mention by name. Mi deseo es desearles un Feliz Año 2010.

Para mí el año pasado fue un año muy hermoso, lleno de grandes bendiciones, y grandes avances en la obra que desarrollamos en Chiapas, y creo que en este año, cosas mucho mas grandes están por realizarse, la Iglesia en Rio Rancho han sido un regalo inmerecido de Dios, el tener a mi hermano Ernesto y su familia, gracia sobre gracia, la fidelidad de todos ustedes tanto en sus oraciones como en su fiel contribución para la obra, sin olvidar el amor y amistad, es algo que no tengo con que pagar, el amor, la paciencia y la fidelidad de Dios, han sido mi fuerza y mi escudo.

For me, last year was a wonderful year, full of blessing and great advances in the ministry at Chiapas, and I believe this year bigger things are going to happen. The Rio Rancho Church has been an undeserved gift from God, and to have brother Ernesto McColum and his family a blessing on top of so many blessings. The happiness of your support in prayers and contributions to the ministry, with out forgetting your love and friendship. These are things I can never repay, God's love and patience and faithfulness, they have been my shield and my strength.

Hablando de los sucesos del 2009, no puedo dejar de comentar quien fue mi padre, el fue un verdadero hombre de Dios, un ganador de almas, un hombre sensible a la necesidad de los demás, un buen pastor, un amigo confiable, un seminario donde varios fueron completamente perfeccionados para la buena obra, un hombre manso y humilde de corazón.

Speaking of the events of 2009, I can not help but speak about who my father was. He was a real man of God, a winner of souls, a man always sensible to the needs of others, a good shepherd, a trust worthy friend, he was a seminary where many were perfected for the work of God, a humble man with a humble heart.

Yo no sé si él se esforzaba en hacer buenas obras, o eso era algo natural en el, lo que si me di cuenta, es que aprovechó bien el tiempo que Dios le dio, no fue esclavo del tiempo, mas bien, el tiempo fue un sirviente útil a mi padre, tomo oportunidad de cada ocasión para hacer buenas obras, enriqueciendo a muchos en su pobreza, incontables son aquellos a los que él fue padre y guía, ayudo al huérfano, a la viuda, al necesitado, tanto así que el con la ayuda constante de mi madre, fueron refugio para más de 500 niños, puedo entender con su vida, que no sirve no servir, y que si solo vemos por los nuestros, no hacemos más de lo que los demás hacen....

I do not know if he had to struggle to do God's good work or if it was natural for him, what I did noticed is that he made good use of the time God gave him. My father was not a slave to time, but time was a useful servant to my father. He took every oportunity to do the work of God, enriching many in their poverty. Innumerable are those for whom we became a father and a guide, he helped the orphan, the widow, the needy. So much so that with the constant help if my mother, they gave refuge to more than 500 children. I can undertand by his life that it is no good not to serve, and that we only care about our selfs we do not do more than everyone else does....

Un sobrino dijo que mi padre era un hombre extraño, no sé exactamente porque lo dijo, pero lo cierto es que en este tiempo, tristemente ya es extraño ver a un hombre como mi padre, no tuve tiempo de verle cuando el Señor lo estaba llamando a su presencia, mi hermana Ada tubo esa bendición de Dios, a mi me hubiera gustado tomar a mi padre y no soltarlo, si antes Dios no me daba una doble porción de su espíritu... bueno, tal vez no hubiera servido de nada, pero mi deseo es imitarle.... no soy digno de pisar donde Dios le permitío pisar, ni de ver las cosas que Dios le permitío ver, pero aun con todo... ya empecé a caminar... ¡gracias Dios! solo tu mereces la honra y la gloria.

One of my nephews said that my father was a strange man, I do not know exactly why he said that, but it is true that in these times it is strange so see any man like my father. I was not there when God was calling my father in to His presence, my syster Ada had this blessing from God. I would have liked to hold my father and not let go, not before God would give me a double portion of his spirit...Perhaps I would have accomplished nothing, my desire is to imitate him.... I am not worthy of walking the same places God allowed my father to walk, neither to see the things he saw, but even so... I have started walking.... Thank you Lord! only you deserve the honor and the glory.

El hermno Misael Loera, padre de Benjamin Loera ha pasado a la presencia del principe de los pastores. Ahora el esta en el cielo del que tanto nos hablo y caminando al lado de aquel a quien tanto amo, sin averlo visto antes de hoy.

Brother Misael Loera Sr., father of Benjamin Loera now in the presence of the prince of the pastors. Brother Loera is now in the heaven he told us so much about, and walking alongside of the one he loved so much, having not seen him till today.

El hermano paso a la presencia de Dios en paz y rapidamente, estaba trabajando y disfrutando de la compania de Ada (su hija) en su rancho, hoy a las 10 a.m. Benjamin, al igual que sus hermanos: Raquel, Juan, Ada, Misael y Abi estan tristes por la partida del hermano, pero tambien tienen la paz de Dios y felices al saber que su padre esta sin la menor duda en la presencia de Jesus a quien sirvio tan fielmente la mayor parte de su vida aqui. La esposa Abigail Cordero viuda de Loera, esta naturalmente muy trizte, porfavor oren por ella. La hermana Abigail tiene un marcapasos recientemente instalado.

The passing of brother Loera to the presence of the Lord was quick and peacefull, he was working in the ranch and enjoying the company of Ada (his daughter), today at 10 a.m. Benjamin, same as his brothers and sisters: Raquel, Juan, Ada, Misael Jr, and Abi are sad because of the separation, but are also have the peace of God, and are happy knowing that without a doubt their father is in the presence of Jesus who he served so fatefully for so most of his life here. The widow Abigail Loera is naturally very said, please pray specially for her. Sister Abigail Loera had a pacemaker installed recently.

Benjamin se siente triste de que su papa, el pastor Misael Loera, no viera culminada por si mismo la obra que se esta haciendo en Ocozingo Chiapas, donde Benjamin ha trabajado duro para establecer un orfanatorio. Este es un ministerio que el pastor Misael Loera amaba mucho, el mismo fundo y dirigio el orfanatorio "Benito Juarez" por muchos años. Benjamin dice que su papa ve ahora cosas mucho mejores y que la honra y gloria es para Dios. El papa de Benjamin amaba de manera especial a Pablito.

Benjamin feels said that his father, pastor Misael Loera, did not see with his own eyes, the completion of the work that Benjamin is doing in Ocozingo Chiapas. This is where Benjamin has worked very hard at establishing an orphanage. This is a ministry that pastor Misael Loera loved very much, him self founded an ran an orphanage called "Benito Juarez" for many years. However, Benjamin says that his father sees much better things now and that all honor and glory is for our God. Benjamin's father loved Pablito, his grandson, very much.

Apreciados hermanos.
Ya casi terminamos este año, si es que nuestro Dios así lo permite, este año ha sido lleno de muchas bendiciones para nuestro ministerio, y creemos que es el cimiento de cosas mucho más grandes, que Dios les bendiga siempre y les colme de su gracia, ustedes han sido gente útil, y Dios ha escuchado sus oraciones, tanto que aun seguimos caminando.
Beloved brothers and systers. We have almost concluded this year, if our God allows, this year has been filled with blessings for our ministry, and we believe this is the foundation for much greater things to come. May God bless you always and overflows your lives with with grace. You have been very helpfull people, and God has heard your prayers, so much so that we cantinue on the walking on His road.

Ya en nuestra casa tenemos agua y parece ser que antes que termine el año tendremos la luz, así que en Enero si Dios lo permite ya la esteremos habitando, y nuestro interés, es habilitarla para poder recibir entre 8 a 10 niños, les pido mucho de sus oraciones, hasta ahora la mano de Dios, nos ha guiado, y continuaremos confiando en el.

In our house (which we are now building) we have water and it seams that before the end of the year we will also have electrical power, if so by January we will be occuping the new. Our plan is to equip it to house 8 to 10 children. I ask for your prayers, till now the hand of God has guided us and we continue trusting in Him.

En este 2010, si Dios nos permite llagar, no nos detendremos hasta cumplir las cosas a las cuales El nos ha llamado, ni perdemos el tiempo, ni la visión que nos ha puesto, caminaremos con mas fidelidad, dejaremos que cada día, Dios se muestre más a través de nosotros, haciendo, pensando y sintiendo, no lo que nosotros queramos hacer, pensar o sentir, sino buscando día tras día, lo que en su voluntad quiera que hagamos, y si no fuera así, hay quien nos juzgue y juzgará todas las cosas.
In this year 2010, if God allows, we will not stop working untill we have accomplished all that God has called us to. We will not lose time or losse sight of the vision that He has Given. We will walk faithfully and will allow that everyday God will show Him self in us. Doing, thinking and feeling, not what we want to, but what He want us to do, think and feel everyday. If it is not so, there is one that judges us and will judge all things.

Realmente esperamos cosas buenas para ustedes en esta navidad, y que en el 2010 Dios se muestre poderoso en sus vidas, y que nuestro deseo de serle fiel, se fortalezca enormemente, a tal punto, que no nos permita estar inactivos.

Hoy no tengo mucho que comunicarles, realmente la mayor parte de mi tiempo tengo que estar en la construcción, ya solo nos falta que nos instalen la energía eléctrica, que nos terminen la cisterna y las puertas de la entrada principal, nosotros quisiéramos ya estar habitándola pero por ahora no es posible, así que continuo quedándome todas las noches cuidando de todas las cosas que hay en ella.
Today I do not have a lot to communicate to you, most of my time is being spent in supervising the construction, the only things left to be completed are: the electricity, the cistern, and the front doors. We would like for it to be already living in the house, but for the time being it is not possible. So I continue staying over at the construction site guarding everything inside the house.

Gracias a Dios continúo impartiendo enseñanza en el instituto bíblico Cenmi, en este nuevo ciclo se añadieron como 15 nuevos estudiantes, y eso me llena de gran alegría, ya que es otra buena oportunidad de servir al Señor y tratar de influir en las vidas de estos estudiantes para la gloria de Dios.
Thank God I continue giving classes at the "Cenmi" biblical institute, in this new cycle we had 15 new students. This fills me with great happiness, because this is a another great opportunity to serve God and try to influence the lives of the students for the glory of God.

En la iglesia continúo apoyando en la predicación y junto con otros hermanos estamos sirviendo en el campo juvenil de la iglesia, y siempre en lo que puedo, me pongo a la disposición del pastor y de la iglesia, tratando de ser siempre útil.
I continue to preach at the church services and along side other brothers I continue to serve in the Youth ministry of the church. I put my self at the service of the church and the pastor at every opportunity, trying to be useful.

I am thankful for your prayers on behalf of my mother, she appears to be getting better. It seams that her maladies were caused by some medications she was taking. So we trust it was only that and that her recovery is complete.

Once again we thank God for His goodness and we hope He will continue to bless your lives

Damos gracias a Dios por el trabajo de verano, ahora fue un poco apurado y desorganizado, ya que el tiempo no nos permitió dedicarle lo necesario, mas aun con todo 11 jóvenes dieron su tiempo y el evangelio fue predicado, y nuevos jóvenes viviendo la experiencia de ser útiles, y saboreando la bendición de ser usados en al trabajo misionero.

We thank God for the work done this summer. This time it was a bit rushed and disorganized, I was very busy and was not able to dedicate enough time the planning. Despite all of this 11 young people dedicated their time to preach the gospel , new young persons experiencing what it is to be used by God and tasting the blessings of working in the mission field.

Se trabajo en 5 lugares, Guaquitepec, Tacuba, Tzajala, Zapata y Comalapa, evangelizando a mas de 300 niños, fue para estos jóvenes una experiencia nueva que impacto sus vidas, y agradecemos a Dios que están dispuestos a servir al Señor nuevamente para el año entrante, y animar a otros a hacer lo mismo.

They worked in 5 locations:Guaquitepec, Tacuba, Tzajala, Zapata and Comalapa, sharing the gospel to more than 300 children. This was a very impacting experience for these young missionaries and we thank God that they were willing to serve the Lord next year also and to invite their friends.

En este tiempo, he podido predicar en actividades especiales en Tzajala y Tacuba, siempre es de bendición poder apoyar a los hermanos y tener el privilegio de predicar la palabra de Dios.

During this time I have been able to preach at special activities in Tzajala & Tacuba, it is always a blessing to support the brothers and to have the privilege of preaching God's word.

La construcción de la casa continua adelante, y esperamos que si Dios lo permite en un mes ya la ocuparemos, nuevamente agradecemos a Dios por los hermanos de Rio Rancho, por su gran ayuda y sus proyectos para regresar el próximo año, para nuevamente servir a Dios en la predicación de la palabra tanto a los niños como a jóvenes y adultos.

The building of our home continues and we trust, that if it is God's will we will move in in one month. Once again we thank God for our brothers of "Rio Rancho", for their great help and for their commitment to return next year. They plan to once again serve God in the preaching of His word to children and adults.

Gracias a Dios estregamos otra computadora portátil a otro pastor del sur de nuestro estado, el hermano Jesús y su esposa Delssy sirven a Dios en una nueva congragación que Dios les a permitido levantar, en la cual mucha gente dominada por las drogas el alcoholismo y la prostitución, han sido alcanzados por el poder del evangelio, el mostro especial agradecimiento por esta bendición que es de gran utilidad en el ministerio, para capacitar a otros por medio de los videos de Palabra de Verdad, que nuestro hermano Ernesto nos a proporcionado.

Thank God we delivered another laptop to another pastor in the south part of the state, brother Jesus and his wife Delssy. They serve God in a new congregation that the Lord has blessed them in getting it started. A lot of people dominated by drugs, alcoholism and prostitution but they have been reached by the power of the gospel. Pastor Jesus was specially grateful for the laptop which will be greatly useful for the ministry, to teach others by viewing the videos from "Palabra de Verdad" which our brother Ernesto has provided us.

Les pido que continúen orando por el hermano Ernesto, su esposa Anita y el padre de nuestra hermana, en ellos su salud no ha sido buena y necesitan mucho de nuestras oraciones, también les pido que oren por mi madre ya que en este tiempo sufrió un derrame que la llevo al hospital y ya tiene una semana internada, al parecer ya está bien, el derrame se le fue hacia el ojo lo cual dicen que fue algo bueno, su rimo cardiaco esta bajo y por esta razón le están haciendo estudios y la tiene en observación, ella dice sentirse bien y esperamos que así sea y que pueda recuperarse.

I ask that you please continue to pray for brother Ernesto and his wife Anita and Anita's father. Their health is not very good. I also ask for your prayers for my mother she suffered a stroke and was taken to the hospital and she has been hospitalized for a week. It appears that she is doing well. The stroke was directed towards he eye, which, according to the doctors, was a good thing. She has low blood pressure and for this reason the doctors are performing some tests and have her under observation. She says she is feeling well and we hope that is the case and that she can recover soon.

Misioneros de verano en area Tzeltal

Dios les bendiga!
Solo para informarles que 12 jóvenes pusieron su tiempo para servir al Señor como misioneros de verano, ellos están sirviendo a Dios en unas comunidades de habla Tzeltal, trabajando en la evangelización de la niñez y en el trabajo juvenil.

Just to inform you that 12 young people used their time to serve the Lord as summer missionaries., they are serving God in communities that speak only Tzeltal ( A Maya dialect ), evangelizing children and working with the Youth.

Aun con las dificultades y carencias que enfrentarán, en la alimentación y en los servicios de uso diario, estuvieron dispuestos a ir a servir al Señor.

In spite of the challenges and privations they were willing to serve the Lord

No son lugares para vacacionar, y mucho menos lugares que provean comodidad, son lugares realmente pobres, con poca higiene, pero con mucha necesidad del evangelio y de una enseñanza bíblica, les pedimos mucho que estén orando por estos jóvenes, que puedan ser usados en gran manera, y que dejen ejemplos dignos de ser imitados.

Entre ellos esta nuestra hija Verónica, este es su primer viaje misionero y esperamos que esta experiencia le motive en su entrega al servicio del Señor.

Agradecemos mucho sus oraciones!.

Those are not places to go on vacation, or that provide comfort. Those are very poor communities with little hygiene, but with a big need of the gospel and teaching of the bible. We ask ask and plead for your prayers on behalf of these young people, that they will be used in a great way by God and show them selfs as an example worthy to imitate.

Amongst them is our daughter Veronica, this is her first missionary trip and we hope that the experience will motivate her to serve the Lord with her life.

Queridos hermanos Dios les bendiga grandemente!
Dios a sido bueno en gran manera, gracias a Dios todos en casa estamos bien, Pablito continua con el problema de las anginas, el ahora está en tratamiento y esperamos que esto le ayude, Veronica y mi esposa están bien.

En este tiempo mi padre cumplió 80 años de edad, realmente él es uno de los más grandes hombres que he conocido, el ha sido un gran ejemplo y motivación a mi vida, inculco en mi el temor a Jehová, el amor por la obra, el interés por la niñez, y el aprender a vivir por la fe, no pude asistir a su cumpleaños el cual se festejo en Ciudad Juárez y parece ser que asistieron como 100 hermanos y amigos, realmente me fue imposible poder ir, estoy lejos de él y mi madre, pero el ejemplo de ambos esta a mi lado, lo cual me empuja a crecer y me lleva a la obediencia tomando inspiración de cada recuerdo de fidelidad y devoción a Dios, aun no los he alcanzado y sé que me queda mucha distancia por recorrer, pero como Pablo una cosa hago, continuo hacia la meta, mirando a Cristo y a lo que Cristo a hecho en la vida de otros.

El trabajo en la construcción continua, esperamos ya el momento para poder entrar a vivir en esta nueva casa, no me canso de darle gracias a Dios, y agradezco en gran manera sus oraciones y apoyo económico, los hermanos de Rio Rancho son de gran bendición, y el trabajo de la familia McCollum es invaluable a nuestra vida y pido de sus oraciones por la salud de mis hermanos, yo se que se pueden cansar de leer mis agradecimientos, pero nuevamente gracias!

En este tiempo entregamos el dinero que envió la primera iglesia hispana de Guymon Oklahoma al hermano Samuel, para mi es hermoso ver hermanos interesados en apoyar la obra, y apoyar a hermanos como el pastor Samuel, que sufren y están en necesidad, el agrádese mucho este gesto de amor.

La semana pasada estuve capacitando, a uno jóvenes de una iglesia en Comalapa, si Dios lo permite ellos vendrán a Ocosingo, y trabajaran junto con otros en esta ciudad y en algunas comunidades, les pido mucho de sus oraciones.

Yo realmente no cuento con mucho tiempo, pero esperamos que cosas grandes sucedan en este verano y que el trabajo se pueda llevar a cabo.

Los hermanos de Rio Rancho, ya se están preparando para venir nuevamente a Chiapas el próximo año, y entre las cosas que están haciendo para su preparación es aprender español, algunos de ellos ya están utilizando de su español escribiéndome a mi correo, ellos están muy serios en su servicio misionero en Chiapas, por lo cual glorificamos a Dios y enaltecemos su nombre.

Ahora que estoy al tanto de lo que se está construyendo, al quedarme por las noches cuidando el material y las herramientas y en el día hacer algunas cosas necesarias, valoro mas el trabajo que tubo Salomón al construir el templo, y miro al futuro y puedo ver claramente el beneficio que estas construcciones traerán tanto a niños, como a jóvenes y adultos, así que no me canso, sino que renuevo fuerzas y con gozo hago lo que me exige esta obra.

Nuevamente gracias, y les agradezco mucho sus oraciones y apoyo que han brindado, con mucho amor, Familia Loera, Dios es Bueno.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

May God bless you immensely! God has been good in such a great way and I give thanks to God that my family is doing well. Pablito continues to have problems with his tonsils and is currently undergoing treatment and we hope that this will help him. Both Veronica and my wife are doing well.

At this time my father is 80 years old and he is one of the greatest men I have ever known. He has been a great example and motivator in my life. He instilled in me the fear of the Lord, the love of the Bible, an interest in the lives of children and most importantly, he taught me to live in faith. I was not able to attend his birthday party in Ciudad Juarez and it seems that approximately 100 friends were there to celebrate with him. In reality, it was impossible for me to go because I live so far from my father and mother, but their example has always been with me. They pushed me to grow and I am constantly reminded of their devotion and faithfulness to God. I strive for the same thing but I am not quite there and still have a long way to go. But, like Paul, I will continue the fight and I will look to Christ and to that which He has done in the lives of others.

The construction work continues, and we are still waiting for the moment to be able to begin our lives in the new house. I have never stopped giving thanks to God and greatly appreciate your prayers and financial support. The brothers of Rio Rancho are a great blessing and the work of the McCollum family is invaluable in our lives. I ask for your prayers for the health of my brothers in Christ and although I know you get tired of reading my thanks, thanks again!

At this time we are giving the money that the Primera Iglesia Hispana of Guymon Oklahoma sent to Brother Samuel and, to me, it’s beautiful to see brothers interested in helping spread the Word and interested in helping others, like Pastor Samuel, who suffer and have many needs. He greatly appreciates these gestures of love.

Last week was very busy! Some of the youth from a church in Comalapa, if God allows them to come to Ocosingo, will work in this city and in surrounding communities. Please pray about this opportunity. Although there is not much time left, we really expect great things to happen this summer and know that great works can be carried out!

The brothers and sisters from Rio Rancho are already preparing to come again to Chiapas next year and one of the things they are doing to prepare is learning Spanish. Some of them are already using their Spanish to write me emails and I know that they are very serious about their mission work in Chiapas. For this, we give glory to God and exalt His name.

Now that the construction has begun, I stay there at nights to guard the materials and tools. During the day, I do all the other necessary tasks. However, I now greatly appreciate the work Salomon did to construct the Temple and I can look to the future and am able to clearly see the benefits these buildings are going to bring to children, as well as the youth and adults. Because of this, I am not tired but, with renewed strength and joy, I am able to continue my work for Him.

Estufa ecologica para familia del pastor Samuel

Gracias a Dios pudimos hacer este servicio para el Señor, instalando una estufa ecológica a la familia del pastor Samuel en Lacandon.

Compramos la plancha metálica en una frontera de Guatemala llamada ¨La Mesilla¨, el reto del material en Ocosingo, y junto con tres hermanos y amigos en Cristo salimos de madrugada introduciéndonos en la selva, con la intención de instalarla y regresar en la noche a nuestras casas, los hermanos que me acompañaron son: el hermano David, Pedro y Cesar.

Con todo el material llevado desde Ocosingo, no nos fue tan difícil terminar la estufa, lo que hizo que se nos complicara un poco el trabajo, es que no llevamos la herramienta necesaria (Cosas de principiantes), mas gracias a Dios que con un martillo, machete y nuestras manos solucionamos nuestra deficiencia.

Gracias a Dios, al ultimo la terminamos y dejamos material para que el hermano y su yerno terminaran los acabados, quedaron muy contentos y esperamos que con ella, usen menos leña, y cuiden más de su salud, y estas señoritas puedan crecer más sanas.
Damos gracias a Dios por la Iglesia Bautista en Guymon Okahoma, ya que han enviado ayuda económica para el pastor y su familia y el ministerio, lo cual ellos están muy agradecidos.

Gálatas 6:9-10 No nos cansemos, pues, de hacer bien; porque a su tiempo segaremos, si no desmayamos. Así que, según tengamos oportunidad, hagamos bien a todos, y mayormente a los de la familia de la fe.

Ecological stove for Pastor Samuel’s family

Thank God we were able to do this service for the Lord; we installed an ecological stove for Pastor Samuel’s family in Lacandon.

We bought the metallic iron stove in one of the borders of Guatemala called La Mesilla. I, along with three brothers and friends in Christ, left very early and went into the jungle. Our plan was to install it and come back at night to our houses. The men that went with me are: Brother David, Pedro and Cesar.

Once we have had carried all the material from Ocosingo, it was not that hard to finish installing the stove. What made it hard was that we didn’t have the basic tools to install it (obviously you can see we are not professionals), but thank God, a hammer, a machete and our hands were all we needed to finish our job.

Thank God we finished our project and left some material so that brother Samuel and his son-in-law could work on minor details. They were very happy and now we hope that with their new stove they will use less wood and take better care better of their health, and these ladies will grow healthier.

We thank God for the Baptist Church in Guymon Oklahoma for they have sent financial help for this pastor, his family and the ministry. They are very thankful for that.

Galatians 6:9,10 - Let us not get tired of doing what is good, for at the right time we will reap a harvest-if we do not give up. So then, whenever we have the opportunity, let us practice doing good to everyone, especially to the family of faith.

Estuve en la comunidad de Zapata, fui invitado para acompañarles junto con otros hermanos, para tener un tiempo de compañerismo y predicación de la Palabra, el problema es que para los demás todo se les complico y nadie pudo acompañarme, al último un hermano de la selva vino a visitarme y al saber que me fui solo me alcanzo en un poblado llamado Chilon, a una hora de distancia.

Gracias a Dios tuvimos buen tiempo, predique en 4 tiempos, proyecte 1 película, y jugué un poco con los niños del pueblo.

Los hermanos tuvieron algunos problemas que han enfrentado, y tristemente estos problemas no hubieran afectado si ellos no ignoraran tanto las escrituras, posiblemente estaré yendo para ayudarles con doctrina y eclesiología.

Les pido de sus oraciones por estos hermanos, ellos desean poder ampliar la construcción de su templo, pero son hermanos de bajos recursos, y poder llevar materiales de construcción hasta donde ellos viven es bastante caro, también están por empezar una misión en una comunidad llamada Tzajala, y si Dios lo permite estere apoyándoles en esto.

También a la esposa del pastor tenemos la intención de construirle una estufa ecológica, porque ella junto con las demás hermanas sufren al tener que cocinar la comida por causa de tanto humo, lo cual les trae problemas con su salud.

I went to the community of Zapata. I was invited together with other brothers to share a time of fellowship and preaching of the Word of God. The problem was that all the others had complications and couldn’t come with me. A brother from the jungle came to visit me, and when he found out that I was traveling by myself, he joined me in a small town called Chilon, an hour away.

Thank God we had a good time, I preached 4 times, showed a movie, and had a good time playing with the kids.

The people from the church are having problems. They are going through hard times, and sadly, these problems would not affect them if they would not ignore the Scriptures. Hopefully I will be visiting them to help them with doctrine and ecclesiastics.

Please pray for these dear brothers and sisters in Christ. They really want to enlarge their church building, but they don’t have the money to do it, and carrying construction materials all the way to where they live is very expensive. Also, they are about to start a new mission in the community of Tzajala, and God willing I will be helping them.
We also want to install an ecological stove for the pastor’s wife of this community. She and the other ladies have a hard time when they cook because of all the smoke. This causes problems in their health.

!Que Dios les bendiga¡
Disculpen que no hayamos hecho algún reporte, pero hemos estado muy ocupados en la construcción, damos gracias a Dios por la Iglesia de Rio Rancho, por su gran ayuda en este proyecto, ya casi se están terminando las paredes, y pronto se empezara a poner todo lo necesario para echar la loza.

Tuvimos que aplanar parte del lugar y eso fue un poco costoso, también arreglamos el camino y le echamos grava, dado que es el tiempo de lluvia y se nos dificultaba entrar, pero gracias a Dios por lo pronto parece que ya no hay nada que detenga la construcción.

Todos los días de lunes a sábado, tenemos que estar llevando a los trabajadores al terreno a las 6:00 am, y los tenemos que traer de regreso a las 6:00 pm, como aun no tenemos agua de la ciudad en el terreno, con un remolque acarreamos agua del rio, así que tenemos que estar disponibles en el terreno para las necesidades que tienen los constructores, y proveerles lo que necesitan para continuar con el trabajo.

Al principio nos teníamos que estar quedando a dormir en el terreno, pero eso nos hacía que no pudiéramos hacer nada mas, ahora hay un joven que se está quedando y eso nos ha permitido continuar un poco con las actividades que necesitamos hacer.
Hemos continuado visitando algunas comunidades, y hemos repartido sandalias y playeras que los hermanos de Rio Rancho trajeron, ha sido difícil en estos momentos hacer esto, pero nos hemos dividido y así no hemos desentendido el trabajo en la construcción.

Les pedimos de sus oraciones, ya que deseamos que en el verano, podamos trabajar con el ministerio misionero, hay varios problemas que tenemos que enfrentar, uno de ellos es la posible disminución de el tiempo de vacaciones por el cese de clases por razón del la influenza, que ha afectado a nuestro país, eso puede ocasionar que algunos jóvenes, no les quede tiempo para el trabajo misionero con la niñez, ya que el verano también es tiempo de escuela bíblicas locales y campamentos, otro problema es la economía, y el tercer problema es poder ajustar el tiempo como para que yo pueda ausentarme varios días del trabajo de la construcción, para llevar a cabo la promoción en las iglesias, organizar en las comunidades el trabajo misionero, organizar los materiales, hacer la capacitación, y ver con mi esposa todo lo que tiene que ver con la comida para ese tiempo, esto no se nos hace pesado realmente, solo que me ara ausentarme varios días de la casa, mas les pedimos de sus oraciones, sabedores que Dios puede hacer todas las cosas.

Posiblemente en estos días iré con un grupo de hermanos a Lacandon a visitar al hermano Samuel y su familia, gracias a Dios llego una ayuda de los hermanos de la iglesia Bautista de Gaymon en Oklahoma, así iremos a llevársela y posiblemente trataremos de construirle una estufa ecológica, con ella podrán cocinar las niñas sin recibir ni respirar humo, mientras hacen este oficio, trataremos de irnos de madrugada, para poder hacer este trabajo y regresar a dormir en nuestras casas.

El sábado 23 de mayo si Dios así lo permite estaremos firmando las escrituras del terreno, para que este quede a nuestro nombre, les pedimos de sus oraciones y les agradecemos su amor hacia la obra y hacia nuestras vidas, realmente Dios es tan grande que produce en nosotros tanto el querer como el hacer por su buena voluntad, ¡Dios les bendiga! Grandemente, Dios es verdaderamente bueno.

Report of May 2009

Sorry for not writing any report sooner, but we've been very busy in the construction. We thank God for the Church of Rio Rancho, for their great help in this project. The walls are almost finished, and soon we will begin to put everything needed for throwing crockery.

We had to flatten the place and that was a bit expensive, they also fix the gravel road since it is the rainy season and it was hard to get there. But thank God for the time being it seems that there is nothing to stop construction.

Every day from Monday to Saturday, we need to drive the workers to the property at 6:00 am, and then bring them back at 6:00 pm. As yet we have no city water in the lot, so we use a trailer for carrying water from the river. We have to be available in site for the needs of the construction builders and provide what they need to continue the job.

At first we had to sleep on the ground and we couldn’t do anything else. There is now a young man who is staying there and helping. This has enabled us to continue with some activities we need to do.

We continued visiting some communities, and we have distributed the shirts and sandals that our brothers and sisters from Rio Rancho brought. It has been difficult to do this at the moment, but we have divided the work among us and we have not neglected the construction work.

We ask for your prayers and we wish to work with the missionary ministry in the summer. There are several issues we are facing. One is the possible loss of school vacation time due to the swine influenza that has affected our country. This may cause some young people not to have time for missionary work with children considering also that the summer is a time of Vacation Bible schools and local camps. Another problem is the economy. The third problem is to adjust the time for me to leave the construction work and promote the ministry in churches, organize community missionary work, get the teaching material ready, do the training and see with my wife all that that has to do with the meals. It is really hard for us to leave town at this time. We ask for your prayers, knowing that God can do all things.

Perhaps in the coming days I'll go with a group of brothers to visit our brother Samuel and his family in Lacandon. Thank God I for the timely aid of the brothers and sisters of Gaymon Baptist Church in Oklahoma. We're going to go and possibly try to build an eco-stove so his daughters can cook without breathing smoke. We’ll try to go early morning to do this job and return to sleep in our houses.

On Saturday May 23 and if God allows it, we will be signing the deeds of the land under our name. We ask for your prayers and we thank you for your work and love to our lives. God is really so great. God bless you! Great, God is truly good and great.

Gracias! Gracias! Pero muchas gracias a Dios, el siempre es Grande y hace maravillas.
Él es bueno con nosotros y no paramos de maravillarnos al ver como obra, en este mes de Marzo del 20 al 29, estuvieron los hermanos de la Iglesia Bautista de Rio Rancho NM. Vinieron en total 20 hermanos y el pastor Said Dudagher, fue un tiempo de grandes bendiciones.

Ellos sirvieron al Señor en diferentes iglesias y pueblos, los lugares que visitaron fueron Ocosingo, Tacuba Nuevo, Sancristobal, Simojovel y Suchiapa.

Las hermanas venían preparadas para tener conferencias con señoritas hablándoles de la pureza que deben de conservar para el Señor, presentando a ellas como princesas del Señor.

Las hermanas de Rio Rancho prepararon este material que tuvo un gran éxito con las señoritas y siempre hubo varias de ellas que terminaron conmovidas con estas conferencias, ya que fueron tocadas fibras sensibles de sus corazones, dado las cosas difíciles que ellas pasan en sus hogares, yo quede impactado con el testimonio que las hermanas nos dieron de los casos que trataron, gracias damos a Dios que también pudieron aconsejar a varias de estas jovencitas, lo cual es verdaderamente necesario, ellas hablaron a grupos de mas de 60 señoritas y otros mas pequeños.

Otro grupo trabajo con los niños, enseñando cantos y la palabra de Dios, también les acompañaba un hermano que hacía varios actos de magia, lo cual fue muy atractivo para los niños, fue asombroso la capacidad que tuvieron para impartir sus clases sin necesidad de nuestra ayuda, ellos trajeron sus propios interpretes y pudieron relacionarse con todos los niños, ganándose el afecto y amor de ellos.

Otro grupo de hermanos nos ayudaron en sus tiempos que les permitimos hacerlo en el trabajo físico, sembrando algunos postes para el cerco del terreno, y fueron y están siendo de gran ayuda para algunas mejoras que necesitan los planos de nuestro proyecto.

Mi hermano el Pastor Said, tubo gran trabajo en la predicación, el tubo a bien preparar varios mensajes que fueron de gran bendición, empezando conmigo, aun hasta hoy ellos continúan hablando fuertemente a mi vida.

El predico en cada lugar que visitamos y en 2 de ellos predico dos sermones, antes de la llegada de ellos, estuvimos promocionando en la radio local con la ayuda de el hermano Luis Armando, una conferencia para la familia en un auditorio de la ciudad, así el pastor Said estuvo en la radio hablando a la ciudad algunos puntos que tenían que ver con la familia pastoral y su trabajo de consejería.

Y en la tarde estuvo en el auditorio hablando a los matrimonios, al cual asistieron más de 300 personas, fue u n tiempo de gran bendición, mucha gente a hablado muy bien de esta conferencia la cual se pidió que se transmitiera nuevamente por la radio, agradecemos mucho a mi hermano Said ya que fue muy flexible a los cambios que se hicieron de última hora, el empezó sus conferencias necesitando la ayuda de su traductora, pero ya en los últimos días, casi predico completamente en español, Dios bendiga enormemente a mi hermano y su iglesia.

Ellos se hospedaron en un hotel de la ciudad, y comían en nuestra casa, Magvis y algunas hermanas de la iglesia cocinaron para ellos, gracias a Dios todo salió bien, ya que el les cuido de enfermedades y cualquier contratiempo.

También hubo la oportunidad de visitar las ruinas de Tonina, las cascadas de Agua Azul y el Cañón del sumidero, y tuvieron oportunidad de comprar bastante café y algunos recuerdos en Sancristobal.

No tenemos como agradecer a Dios, los hermanos fueron muy amorosos y gran bendición a nuestro estado y a nuestra familia, solo puedo terminar este informe, de la misma manera en que lo empecé, diciendo: Gracias! Gracias! Pero muchas gracias a Dios.

Group of Rio Rancho NM.

Thank you! Thank you! And again another thanks to God. He always is great and works wonders. He is so good with us. In the month of March (20-29), we had the visit of brothers and sisters from Rio Rancho Baptist Church. A total of 20 brethren came together with pastor Said Dudagher. It was a time of great blessings.

They served the Lord in various churches and villages. The places we visited were Ocosingo, New Tacuba, San Cristobal, Simojovel and Suchiapa.

The Rio Rancho ladies were prepared to have conferences for young ladies about the need to preserve themselves pure to the Lord, presenting them as princesses of the Lord.

The conferences were a great success and several young women had the sensitive fibers of their hearts deeply touched. They were moved because of the difficult things they experience in their homes. I was impressed with the testimonies they shared with us. Thank God that we were also able to counsel several of these girls, which is truly necessary. They spoke to groups of over 60 ladies and some smaller.

Another group worked with children, singing and teaching the word of God. The boys and girls also enjoyed the performance of a brother who did magic tricks, which was very attractive to them. They brought their own interpreters and were able to relate to all the children, earning their affection and love. Another group of brothers helped us pile-driving our lot. They were and are very helpful for some needed improvements to the plans of our project.

My brother in Christ, Pastor Said, did a great job preaching. He prepared a number of messages that were a wonderful blessing, especially to me. Even until this moment these messages continue to speak strongly to my life. He preached in every place we visited and in 2 of them preached two sermons. The family conference they had in an auditorium in town was promoted on local radio with the help of Brother Luis Armando. Pastor Said also had the opportunity to speak on the radio about family pastoral counseling. During the afternoon he was in the auditorium speaking on marriage. This conference was attended by over 300 people. Many have spoken very well of this conference and asked to re-transmit over the radio. We are very grateful to my brother Said as he was very flexible to changes that were made last minute. He began the conference needing the help of his translator, but in last days, he preached almost entirely in Spanish. We pray God blessing over you and your church, Pastor Said!

They stayed in a hotel in town, and ate at our house. Magvis and some other sisters from the church cooked for them. Thank God everything went well, and that He protected them from illness and misfortune. There was also a chance to visit the ruins of Tonina, the waterfalls of Agua Azul and the Cañón del Sumidero. They also bought quite a few souvenirs and coffee in San Cristobal.

There are no words to thank God. They were all very loving and a great blessing to our state and our family. I can only conclude this report, in the same way I started it, saying: Thank you! Thank you! And again another thanks to God!

Agradecemos a Dios por lo bueno que El ha sido con nosotros, hemos podido avanzar en los preparativos para la venida de los hermanos de Rio Rancho NM, ellos visitarán varios lugares del área, y sabemos que será un tiempo de mucha bendición, nuestros hermanos se han dado a la tarea de apoyar económicamente para la construcción así que ya estamos por empezar la primera fase de la construcción, y realmente podemos ver el poder de Dios, y como el suple y es bondadoso a través de su pueblo.

Gracias a Dios también la familia Peterson de Houston, mandaron una ayuda para la construcción, así que agradecemos mucho a Dios también por esta ayuda que El nos da a través de nuestros hermanos. Podemos confirmar vez tras vez el amor e interés de tanto pueblo de Dios que ora, ayuda y está interesado en lo correspondiente a la obra de Dios en todo el mundo.

Otra noticia muy grande es que una familia de la iglesia en Ocosingo, tomaron la decisión de apoyar nuestro ministerio, y nos ofrecieron la tierra que necesitáramos en una parte de sus terrenos al costo que nosotros pudiéramos, yo les comente que solo disponíamos del terreno que ya habíamos adquirido y a ellos pareció bien hacer el cambio, nosotros tomamos 2 hectáreas 7739.68 metros. Con el otro terreno íbamos a tener que hacer milagros para poder distribuir todo lo que tenemos en mente hacer por el Señor, pero ahora disponemos de lo necesario. Así que vemos la mano del Señor, su dirección y provisión.

El domingo pasado, estuve predicando en Tacuba Nuevo, en una campaña que los hermanos organizaron, en el culto de la tarde asistieron gran parte del pueblo, así que había mucha gente escuchando la palabra, gracias a Dios un joven que venía de otra comunidad llamada Ceiva, era la primera vez que asistía a un culto, y entrego su vida a Cristo, doy muchas gracias a Dios por esto.

También hemos entregado, 3 computadoras portátiles por parte de Word of Truth, a pastores que están capacitando por medio de los videos.

Damos gracias nuevamente a Dios por ser parte de esto, ya que creemos fielmente que esto será para un beneficio grande en la obra.

Pedimos de sus oraciones por este tiempo que estarán los hermanos de Rio Rancho, ya que entre todas las actividades estamos planeando una actividad donde se invitara a todo el pueblo y creemos que mucha gente asistirá, a escuchar el mensaje de la Palabra que impartirá el Pastor Said Dudagher de Rio Rancho.

We praise God for He is good with us. We have been able to move forward in preparing for the arrival of our brethren from Rio Rancho NM. They will visit several places in the area, and we know it will be a time of great blessing. Our brothers and sisters have taken the task of providing financial support for the construction. So now we are about to begin the first phase of construction; and we can actually see the power of God, and how He provides through his people.
We thank God also for the Peterson family from Houston. They sent an offering for the construction. We are so grateful to God for helping us He through this family. We confirm once again the love and interest of people of God to pray, help and show interest in God's work around the world.
More great news… A family from the church in Ocosingo took the decision to support our ministry, and offered us the land that we needed in an area of their property at the cost we could afford. I told them that we only had the land we had bought and they took that in exchange for this new lot. We now have 2 hectares and 7739.68 meters. In the first spot that we bought it would have been almost impossible to distribute what we have in mind to do. Now we have the appropriate land. Again we see the hand of the Lord, his direction and provision.
Last Sunday I was preaching in New Tacuba, in an evangelistic campaign organized by the church. In the afternoon most people from the community attended the worship service. So many people heard His word. There was a young man from another community called Ceiva who attended for the first time and he gave his life to Christ. I thank God very much for this.
We have also delivered 3 laptops from Word of Truth to pastors who are training through videos. We thank God again for being part of this. We firmly believe that the ministry that we do along with Word of Truth will be a big benefit for His glory.
We ask you to pray for the brothers and sisters from Rio Rancho during the time they will spend here. We have several activities planned, including one in which we will invite all the people from town to hear the Word of God. The preacher will be Pastor Said Dudagher from Río Rancho NM.

Regalos en las comunidades de Tacuba y Zapata

Hoy 22 de febrero, estamos regresando de Tacuba Nuevo y de Zapata, comunidades a las cuales fuimos a repartir regalos para los niños en estas iglesias, para esta actividad nos acompañaron la familia Pinto de Ocosingo y mi cuñado Eliel.

Cuando llegamos a Tacuba los hermanos estaban en el culto así que llegando me pasaron al pulpito para que llevara la predicación, Manuel se fue con los niños para tener una clase con ellos.

Al termino de este tiempo, repartimos los regalos y los hermanos nos invitaron a comer, fue una comida muy deliciosa con tortillas de maíz hechas a mano, cuando terminamos de comer me pidieron que orara por algunas necesidades que tenían, así que pasamos al templo para tener un tiempo de oración.

Después de esto salimos rumbo a Zapata, habiendo una distancia de 1 hora y media, al llegar nos pasaron nuevamente a comer, así que tuvimos que hacer espacio para volver a comer los alimentos tan deliciosos que nos ofrecieron, y ya terminando la comida repartimos los regalos a los niños.

Damos gracias a Dios por poder llevar estos regalos a los niños de estas comunidades, muchos de ellos nunca habían recibido uno, y se les podía ver en sus rostros la felicidad.

En el camino de regreso a Ocosingo, un jovencito enfermito se acerco a uno de los vehículos en los que íbamos, y dimos uno de los regalos que sobraron, creo que esto me lleno todavía mas mi corazón, al ver la felicidad de este joven y verlo como tomaba entre sus manos el regalo, llevándolo con cuidado a su casa como si fuera un gran tesoro.

Muchas gracias mis amados hermanos por sus oraciones y ofrendas, las cuales nos permiten hacer estas cosas y envió estas fotos para que ustedes con nosotros nos gocemos de esta gran bendición que Dios nos da, de poder ser útiles al Señor, tanto ustedes en la distancia, como a nosotros en representación de ustedes.

Gifts for Tacuba and Zapata Communities

Today February 22, we just got back from Tacuba Nuevo and Zapata. We went to these communities to distribute gifts to the church children. We were accompanied by the Pinto Family and Eliel, my brother in law, from Ocosingo

They were at the worship service when we reached Tacuba Nuevo. Right away they asked me to take the pulpit for preaching. Manuel had a bible class for the children

After the worship service, we shared the gifts with the children and they invited us to eat a meal. It was very tasty, with corn tortillas made by hand. When we finished eating I was asked to pray for certain needs they had. So we all went back to the church building to have a prayer time.

Afterwards we drove a distance of 1 ½ hours to Zapata. Of course they were waiting for us with a special lunch and we had to make room for the delicious meal. The children also received their gifts.

We thank God for the opportunity to bring these gifts to the children of these communities. Many of them had never received one, and we could see the happiness on their faces.

On the way back to Ocosingo, a disabled young man approached one of our vehicles and we gave him one a left-over gift. Seeing the happiness of this young man filled my heart even more. He took it in his hands with great care as if it were a great treasure.

Thank you very much my beloved brethren for your prayers and offerings, which enable us to do these things. I'm posting these photos so you can enjoy with us all these great blessings that God has given us. We all can be useful to the Lord, you in the distance and us representing you.

Regalos con la famila del hermano Samuel en Lacandon

Gracias a Dios el 19 de Febrero del 2009, pudimos ir a Lacandón para visitar al hermano Samuel y así familia, llevamos las 2 bicicletas, regalos para los niños, ropa y un poco de comida.

El hermano estaba en su lugar de siembra trabajando, así que no lo pudimos ver, fue muy bonito poder ver a los niños, la pequeña Williams está quedando muy pequeña ella ya tiene 5 años y Pablito que tiene 2 ya es más grande que ella, pero gracias a Dios ella continua con una risa permanente, le gusta que la saludemos y la carguemos

Algo triste fue que la más grande tenía un día que había regresado después de que se fue a vivir con un joven del pueblo y al parecer no la trataba bien así que volvío a casa, el hermano Samuel la volvió a recibir y esperamos que ella en un futuro tome mejores decisiones.

Le pregunte que como hacían para hacer la comida todo el tiempo que ella estuvo fuera y me dijo que Guillermina la que le sigue a ella de escasos 11 años, se encargo del trabajo de la cocina, me comento que las niñas en las comunidades desde los 8 años ya empiezan a participar de este trabajo, así que Guillermina ya es una experta a la edad de 11 años, para atender los oficios de la casa.

Nos comentaron que al parecer el hermano Samuel se ha visto enfermo, y se teme que la enfermedad es tuberculosis, que en ocasiones tose sangre, así que les pedimos de sus oraciones por él y su familia, esperamos volver pronto para poder platicar con él hermano y ver en que podemos ayudar, y oramos a Dios que su enfermedad no sea nada grave.

Benjamin quedo muy contento con la bicicleta que le regalo Manuel y las niñas disfrutaron mucho de los regalos, Pablito también estuvo muy contento con los niños y disfruto mucho de este viaje al igual que nosotros.
Gracias damos a Dios por esto y no nos cansemos de orar por esta familia.

Gifts for Pastor Samuel Family in Lacandon.

Thank God on February 19, 2009, we were able visit our brother Samuel and his family in Lacandón. We took 2 bikes, gifts for children, clothes and some food.

Brother Samuel was working on his plot, so we could not see him. But it was nice to spend some time with their children. Williams, the youngest, is 5 years old and very small for her age. Pablito, who is only 2, is already taller than Williams. We were happy to see her beautiful smile and received her hugs.

Something sad had happened to them. Their eldest daughter had been living with a young man from town, who apparently did not treat her well. Brother Samuel had allowed her to return home the previous day.. We hope that in the future she makes better decisions.

We asked them who cooked during the time that the oldest sister was away and they told us that Guillermina,. She's barely 11 years and is responsible for the work of the kitchen. Girls as young as 8 years old begin to participate in this work, so Guillermina has already a lot of cooking experience at the age of 11.

They told us that Brother Samuel has been sick, and they feared that the disease is tuberculosis. Sometimes he coughs blood. We ask you to pray for him and his family. We hope to return soon to talk with him and see how we can help.

Benjamin was very happy with the bike that Manuel gave him and the girls liked the gifts a lot. Pablito was also very happy with the kids and enjoyed this trip as much as us.

We thank God for all He does and we ask you to keep this family in your prayers.

Este mes ha sido un tiempo de mucho trabajo y tiempo en el que nuestra fe debe ser probada, ya que siempre hay cosas que ni por más que luchemos las podremos lograr, mas sabemos que quien está de nuestro lado atiende nuestras causas, solo hay que esperar confiadamente, y realmente esto produce paz y bienestar a nuestro espíritu y a nuestro cuerpo.

Como bien saben el 6 de Enero, Pablito cumplió 2 años, así que Magvis hizo una comida e invitamos a unos pocos hermanos, y dimos gracias por la vida de Pablito, el está creciendo bastante, y requiere cada vez mas de nosotros, continua siendo muy activo e inteligente, en este tiempo aproveche para pedir a Dios que haga de Pablo un gran hombre en su reino, realmente lo amamos en gran manera y doy gracias a Dios que mucha gente más le ama y ora por él, así que confió en que Dios le llamara desde muy temprana edad.

Verónica ya está en la escuela, y empezando a hacer su vida con nosotros, ella está con deseos que en semana mayor obedecer al Señor en el bautismo, confiamos que a ella también Dios moverá su corazón para buscarle y serle útil.

Gracias a Dios una iglesia nos vendió 120 cajas de regalos, los cuales queremos repartir en Zapatadonde hay aderredor de 20 niños, Tacuba Nuevo tiene alderredor de 70 niños y queremos llevar a la familia del hermano Samuel en Lacandón.

Conseguimos una bicicleta para el hermano Samuel, por medio del hermano Elías Camacho de Ocosingo, el ministerio “La voz de los mártires” a apoyado a pastores que han sufrido por la obra en Chiapas con diferentes cosas, así que gracias a Dios el hermano ya tiene una para su servicio. Manuel García el joven que está con nosotros, trajo de Juárez una bicicleta para Benjamin el hijo del hermano Samuel, ya que en otra visita que les hicimos, Benjamin expreso interés en tener una.

Hace 5 meses, les comunique que había una ayuda para el hermano Samuel de 150 dlls, la cual se le aria llagar mensualmente, todavía eso no ha sido posible, mas confiamos que esto se llegue a lograr, por lo pronto ahora que vamos a visitarle tendremos que notificarle esto, y ojala que él no piense que yo lo recibí y no se lo hice llegar, y que entienda que eso no dependía de nosotros.

A principio de febrero, tuvimos que ir a la frontera de Matamoros, para vernos con el hermano Ernesto McCollum, gracias a Dios él se ve muy recuperado.

Dios ha sido verdaderamente grande, el fue a tener conferencias con alumnos del seminario de la convención Bautista de Matamoros, esta fue su primera vez que el vuelve a predicar la Palabra después de su problema físico, estamos muy contentos por su recuperación y esperamos que Dios lo mejore día tras día.

El hermano Ernesto me entrego 6 computadoras portátiles las cuales servirán a pastores en el servicio de la enseñanza por video y también pondremos diferentes materiales de enseñanza que les ayudaran en su preparación, en el estudio personal y en la redacción de sus sermones, estas ayudaran a que ellos no tengan que cargar con una televisión y el reproductor de videos, para poder enseñar en las misiones, gracias damos a Dios por esto.

Manuel, continúa sirviendo al Señor en los clubes bíblicos predicando la palabra de Dios, y sigue apoyando a la iglesia en el ministerio juvenil, gracias a Dios se a desempeñado efectivamente en estos ministerios y ha sido de bendición.

He continuado fiel con mi tiempo de enseñanza en el instituto en Ocosingo, y doy gracias a Dios por este tiempo, de los 80 alumnos que eran al principio ya quedan 67, y confiamos que ellos perseveren hasta el final.

Gracias a Dios, todos los preparativos que estamos haciendo para la venida de los hermanos de Rio Rancho en el mes de Marzo, van muy avanzados, les pedimos de sus oraciones por este tiempo que si Dios lo permite, sea un tiempo de mucha bendición y que habrá puertas para que se logren muchas cosas.

En este mes primeramente Dios empezaremos con el centro de predicación en Ocosingo, no habíamos podido dado que el la iglesia en Ocosingo se habían presentado algunos problemas y esto hacia que en apariencia, no fuera un tiempo sensato para que nosotros empezáramos este centro, les pido mucho de sus oraciones, que Dios ponga gracia en nosotros y que mucha gente conozca de Cristo, en este lugar. Dios les bendiga grandemente, Dios es bueno! Familia loera.

Por la fe Abraham, siendo llamado, obedeció para salir al lugar que había de recibir como herencia; y salió sin saber a dónde iba. Por la fe habitó como extranjero en la tierra prometida como en tierra ajena, morando en tiendas con Isaac y Jacob, coherederos de la misma promesa; porque esperaba la ciudad que tiene fundamentos, cuyo arquitecto y constructor es Dios. Report for the month of February 2009

This has been a very busy month and a month when our faith must be tested, because there are things that no matter how hard one fights for, one will never attain. However we know that He that is on our side takes care of our endeavors, it is just a matter of waiting confidently, and this really produces pace and well-being in our heart and our body.

As you well know, on February 6th, it was Pablito's two year birthday and Magvis cooked a meal and we invited a few brothers and sisters, and we thanked God for Pablito's life, he is growing quite a lot, and he requires more and more of us everyday, he continues to be very active and intelligent, at this time I took the opportunity to ask God to make Pablito a great man in God's kingdom, we really love him greatly and give God thanks that many other people love him too and prays for him, so I trust that God will call him to His service from a very young age.

Veronica is already in school, and she has begun to adjust to life with us, she would like to obey the Lord and getting baptized this coming passover week. We trust that God will also move her heart to seek and obey Him.

Thank God a church sold us 120 gift boxes which we want to give out in "Zapata" where there are approximately 20 children,"Tacuba Nuevo" where there are 70 children and we want to take to bother Samuel's family in "Lacandon".

We got a new bicycle for brother Samuel, via the ministry of brother Elias Camacho from "Ocozingo", the ministry "Voice of the Martyrs" has help/supporter pastors that have suffered because of their ministry in "Chiapaz" with many different things. So thank God brother Samuel has a bicycle for His service. Manuel Garcia, the young man that is with us, brought from Juarez a bicycle for Banjamin the the son of brother Samuel, because in a visit we made he expressed interest in having one.

Five months ago, we communicated that we had a monetary aid of 150 dlls. for brother Samuel, which I would give to him monthly, this has not yet been possible, but we trust that this will eventually be done, for now when we go to visit him we will have to notify him of this. I hope he does not come to believe that we received it but have not given it to him, we hope he understand this is not up to us.

At the beginig of this year we had to go to the border of "Matamoros" to meet up with brother Hernesto McCollum, praise be to God he now looks very well recovered.

Brother Ernesto has given me 6 laptop computers which will be given to pastors in the service of teaching via video and we will also install various materials and programs for their biblical training, in their personal studies and in the preparation of their sermons, these will help them in that they will not need to carry a television and VCR to teach in the missions, we thank God for this!

Manuel continues to serve in the bible clubs for children preaching the word of God and he also continues to help with the youth ministry in our church also. Thank God that he has worked in these ministries to effectively and he has been a blessing.

I have continued fatefully to teach in the bible institute in "Oconsingo", and I thank God for this time, from the 80 students we started with we are now left with 67, and we trust that they will continue till the end.

Thank God, all the preparations we have made for the visit of the brothers from "Rio Grande" in the month of March are progressing well, we ask for your prayers so that time, God willing, will be a time of great blessing and that God will open many doors for him to achieve many things.

In this month, God willing, we will begin [to renew work] at the preaching center in "Ocozingo" , we had not been able to because the church in "Ocosingo" had some problems, and this made it seam like it was not the appropriate time to start to work at the preaching center, I ask very much for your prayers, that God will give us grace and that many people come to know Jesus Christ in this place.

Feliz Año Nuevo

Queridos hermanos y amigos.¡Tengan un Feliz Año Nuevo! Y esperamos que este 2009 si es que Dios nos permite vivirlo, sea un tiempo que podamos usarlo para la utilidad del Reino de Dios, y que muchos sean bendecidos por medio de lo que Dios logre en nosotros.

Gracias a Dios tanto en Navidad como en año nuevo pudimos estar en la iglesia junto con los hermanos, fue un tiempo de gran gozo, de verdad que es bueno habitar los hermanos juntos en armonía, en el culto de navidad se me invito para dar el mensaje, asi que agradesco a Dios por este hermoso tiempo.

En estos dias a la iglesia en Ocosingo le informaron que el ministerio el buen samaritano, que da regalos a los niños en diferentes partes del mundo, había mandado varios a la ciudad de Tuxtla, así que ellos fueron como por 300 regalos que repartieron en la Iglesia y en los centros de predicación infantil que tiene la iglesia en el área local, el costo por regalo era de 10 pesos por regalo, cuando yo supe de esto ya se habían acabado, así que no pude invertir en estos regalos, ya que mi deseo era de llevar a comunidades que conozco, donde los niños nunca han recibido regalos, pero espero que para la otra pueda ser posible.

Mas gracias a Dios el viernes pasado, me invitaron al club Bíblico que Manuel Garcia y el pastor Manuel y su esposa tienen en Guaquitepec, allí me toco dar la lección Bíblica y fue hermoso ver a los niños recibir su regalo.

¡Que Dios les continue bendiciendo grandemente! Y pedimos que continúen orando y apoyando nuestro ministerio, Gracias por todo su amor hacia la obra y hacia nuestras vidas.

Happy New Year!

Dear brothers and friends, Have a Happy New Year! And let us hope that this year 2009 (if God permits us to live through it) will be a time that we can use to be useful to the Kingdom of God, and that many will be blessed by what God may accomplish through us.

Thank God we where with the brothers and sisters at the church for both Christmas and New Year's, it was a time of great joy, it is true that: "It is good when the brothers live together in harmony", I was invited to preach at the Christmas service, so I thank God for that time.

Recently the church in Ocosingo was told that the Good Samaritan ministries, the ministry that delivers gifts to many children in the world, that they had sent some to Tuxtla, so they (the churhc) went to pick up about 300 that were given out at the church here and the children outreach centers that the church has in this local area. The cost was 10 pesos (about 90 cents USD) for each gift, when I found out about it the gifts were exhausted and I was not able to invest in these gifts, I wanted to take them to the communities I know and where children have never received Christmas gifts, I hope next time it will be possible.

Thanks be to God I was invited last Friday to the Biblical Club that Manuel Garcia and his wife have at Guaquitepec , I was in charge of the biblical lesson there and it was beautiful thing to see the children receive their gift.

Conferencias del mes de Diciembre

Queridos hermanos colaboradores y participantes de la obra en Chiapas, gracias y paz sean a vosotros.

Dios ha sido bueno en sobremanera, gracias a Dios este mes nos concedió ir a Juárez, ya que las autoridades de esa cuidad nos citaron para ir a recoger a Verónica para recibirla en custodia y gracias a Dios ella ya está con nosotros y este a sido un tiempo de conocernos mejor y poder caminar como familia, doy muchas gracias a Dios por esta grande bendición.

También en este tiempo pudimos traer una van que mi hermana Ada puso a nuestra disposición, que aun no se por cuanto tiempo, pero con ella podremos ayudarnos en el traslado de grupos que nos visiten y actividades donde necesitemos mover gente.

Pues gracias a Dios ya tuvimos el tiempo de predicacion en Suchiapa, fue su decimo aniversario, un tiempo hermoso de convivir con los hermanos, fueron muy atentos al mensaje de la Palabra de Dios, fue una fiesta muy hermosa donde aparte de predicar, pudimos participar cantando, no podemos más que agradecer a Dios por permitirnos disfrutar de este tiempo.

Después estuvimos en Tacuba Nuevo, donde se juntaron los hermanos de esa comunidad y hermanos de Zapata y pueblos de los al derredores, la asistencia fue como de 160 personas, yo me encargue de las conferencias del jueves y del viernes, teniendo que regresar el sábado para continuar con la materia que imparto en el seminario de Ocosingo, estando el pastor Manuel Domínguez el sábado hasta medio día para terminar con las conferencias.

Manuel, Gildardo y Alejandro se encargaron de los niños, fue algo hermoso, los niños en este pueblo son muy preciosos y afectivos, los adultos fueron muy atentos todo el tiempo, no importando que tenían que estar 6 horas diarias escuchándome, los hermanos dijeron sentirse muy motivados con todo este tiempo de estudio bíblico, ¡gracias sean dadas a Dios!

Agradecemos al hermano Ernesto McCollum y al ministerio de Palabra de Verdad, pues aunque mi hermano a estado delicado, se preocupo para que estas conferencias continuaran, y cargo el peso junto con nosotros en oración y apoyo económico, ¡Dios le bendiga grandemente! Yo se que su deseo era estar en estos lugares, mas pedimos a Dios junto con todas estas iglesias que Dios le recupere y le dé la oportunidad de visitarlas muy pronto.

Dios les bendiga grandemente, y pedimos que continúen teniéndonos en sus oraciones y apoyando esta ministerio, deseamos que pasen una ¡Feliz Navidad y un Prospero Año Nuevo! lleno de de nuevos propósitos para nuestro servicio al Señor, con mucho amor Benjamin Loera y Familia.

Conferences in the month of December

Report for the month of December 2008.

Beloved brothers and participants in the ministry in Chiapas, thanks and peace be with you.

God has been overwhelmingly good to us, He allowed us to go to Juarez this month, because the authorities gave us an appointment to go and pick up Veronica and get her custody, thanks to God she is now living with us, this has been a good time to get to know each other better and live as a family. I am very grateful to God for this blessing.

We were also able to bring with us a van with us, lent to us by my sister Ada, not sure for how long, but for now we can use it to transport the groups that visit us and for other activities which we need to move things and people.

Well, thanks to God we preached in Suchiapa, it was their 10th university, it was a beautiful time of fellowship with the brothers and sisters, they were very attentive to the message. It was a beautiful celebration where I also sang, we can't but thank God for the time we spent there.

Afterwords we were in "Tabuba nuevo" were the believers there got together along with the believers from "Zapata" and other towns around there, the attendance was about 160 people, and I was in charge of the conferences for Thursday and Friday. I had to return to Ocozingo on Saturday for the class I teach at the seminary. Pastor Manuel Dominguez continued with the conference back at "Tacuba nuevo".

Manuel Gildardo and Alejando were in charge of the children, it was something beautiful, the children here are quite precious and affectionate, the adults were very attentive the entire time, considering that they had to listen to me for 6 hours daily, they said they felt very motivated by the bible study. !Thanks be to God!

We thank brother Ernesto McCollum and the "word of truth" ministry, because even though my brother's health is fragile, he was worried about these conferences continuing on, and he carried the weight in prayer along with us and supported us economically. May God richly bless him!

I know it was his desire to be present in these places, but we ask God in prayer, along with the other churches here that God will restore him and will allow him to visit us soon.

May God bless you in great ways, please keep us in your prayers and supporting this ministry. We hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Filled with new purposes for our ministry and service to the Lord!

Salida a Juarez

Nuevamente Dios les bendiga! Espero en Dios que El les este llenando de grandes bendiciones

Les quiero comunicar que después de la enfermedad del hermano Ernesto, fuimos a las iglesias de las comunidades para ver que podíamos hacer con las conferencias, si las cancelábamos o las teníamos en diferentes fechas, la iglesia en Suchiapa había invitado al hermano para una serie de cultos por razón de el aniversario de esa iglesia, así que ellos me dijeron que ya que el hermano no podría asistir, yo tendría que predicar en su lugar, a lo cual acepte con gusto, después fui a ver las comunidades que fueron invitadas para las conferencias y ellos dijeron que ya todo estaba avanzado y seria ya difícil cancelar, así que solo movimos la fecha una semana, e iré con dos pastores que deseo invitar para tener este tiempo de conferencias con los hermanos indígenas.

Las autoridades de ciudad Juárez Chihuahua, me dijeron que tengo que ir junto con mi familia el 2 de Diciembre a Juárez, para que firmemos los papeles de la custodia de Verónica, y ellos nos la entregaran para que en Chiapas se continúe con el juicio de adopción, así que ya estamos haciendo maletas para estar si Dios quiere el 1 de Diciembre en Juárez, les pedimos de sus oraciones ya que el viaje es largo y peligroso y el frio en Juárez es fuerte para Pablito y Magvis, confiamos que Dios los guardará de enfermedades.

Continuo recordándoles que oren por el Hermano Ernesto y su esposa, para su completa recuperación, que sabemos Dios es el que puede hacer esto posible.

Trip to Juarez

Again may God bless you brothers and sisters! I hope that the Lord has blessed you richly.

I want to let you know that after what happened to brother Ernesto, we went around visiting the local churches to decide what to do about the conference, if we were to cancel or change the dates. The church in Suchiapa had invited brother Ernesto for their anniversary, so they said that since brother Ernesto could not attend I could preach in his place, I accepted gladly. Then I visited the other churches that where invited for the conference and they said it would be hard to cancel at this point so we moved the date forward by one week. I will visit two bothers that I wish to invite to the conference with the indigenous (Indian) brothers and sisters.

The authorities in Juarez said that I need to go to the office along with my family on December 2nd to Juarez to sign the paperwork to get custody of Veronica. They will then allow us to take her with us to Chiapas to continue the adoption process. So we are packing to go, God willing to Juarez on December 1st. We ask for your prayers because the trip is long and dangerous and Pablito and Magvis are not used to the cold weather in Juarez, we trust God will keep them from getting sick.

I once again ask and remind you to continue praying from brother Ernesto and his wife, for his complete healing, we know that HE can make this happen.

La importancia de orar por un gran hombre

Mi hermano Ernesto McCollum, tenia pensado entre varias cosas mas, venir a Chiapas para la conferencia en Tacuba Nuevo pero el viernes 21 fui informado que estaba en el hospital y se veía en la necesidad de cancelar su venida, realmente no se exactamente todo lo que le sucedió, pero creo que fue algo parecido como a un infarto del cerebelo, tal parece que esta recuperando poco apoco el movimiento del cuerpo y todavía esta en recuperación el movimiento completo de su cara, no se aun que tanto se haya recuperado hasta hoy, pero lo que si se es que necesita mucho de nuestras oraciones.

El es un gran hombre de Dios, que ha dedicado la mayor parte de su vida a la obra de Dios y pienso que aun tiene mucho mas que hacer para el reino, y oro a Dios que le recupere por completo.

El es un gran amigo, un consiervo, un compañero, un descanso para mi familia y ministerio, excelente ejemplo, útil consejero, hermoso padre que Dios me ha dado en el Señor, una bendición grande para Chiapas y cientos de lugares mas, con un ministerio de tremendo alcance.

Amados hermanos les pido que me ayuden a orar por mi hermano Ernesto McCollum, y puedan ver la bendición que sera después poder mirar hacia atrás y poder decir después de ver todo lo que la Dios pudo lograr por medio de la salud de mi hermano, gracias a Dios pude velar mas que una hora por un hombre de Dios, y puedo sentir que estuve al lado en los momentos mas difíciles de uno de los hombres que Dios ha escojido para bendecir a muchos.

My brother Ernesto McCollum, he had planned several things, like coming to Chiapas to take part in the conference in Tacuba Nuevo but on the 21st I received news that he was hospitalized and in need of canceling the trip. I do not now all the details of what happened but it appears to have been a stroke that affected his brain. It seams that he is recovering slowly the motion of his body and face. I do not know how well he is doing today. He does have great need our prayers. He is a great man of God who has dedicated the majority of his and I believe still has much more to do for the kingdom of God. My prayer is that he recovers completely.

He is a great friend, a co-servant, a companion, a resting place for my family and ministry, an excellent example, useful counselor and a great father in the faith that God has given me and a great blessing to the state of Chiapas and hundreds of other places, and has a great outreach ministry that reaches many people.

Beloved brothers I ask that you help me in praying for my brother McCollum. And I hope we see the blessing of God and that we can speak of what God has done in the life and ministry and health of brother McCollum. Praise be to God that I was able to "stand guard" in the darkest hours of a great man that God has elected to bless so many others.

Apreciados hermanos.
Gracias damos a Dios, por el amor y el afecto que ustedes tienen a la obra y a nosotros, sabemos que Dios es bueno con los que le sirven.

Deseo empezar hablándoles de Magvis y Pablito, Magvis continúa yendo al doctor por cuestiones de chequeos, y confió que ella mejorará día con día, Pablito cada vez está más bello, empieza a comunicarse mejor y podemos entenderla con más facilidad, pero lo que más nos llena de felicidad son sus muestras de amor, el es un regalo muy grande de Dios, a él le gusta mucho orar y cantar y confiamos que Dios le llamará desde muy pequeño, estamos listos para motivarle y encaminarle al servicio de Dios.
Gracias a Dios ya tenemos noticias firmes en cuanto a la adopción de Verónica, ya que primeramente Dios estará con nosotros antes de que termine este año, se que ella será una bella hermana para Pablito, y una bella hija para nosotros, confiamos que Dios nos usara para ser de ejemplo y motivación para la vida y devoción de ella a Cristo.

Manuel García, continúa con nosotros y a sido una bendición y apoyo al ministerio, a servido en la iglesia donde asistimos en Ocosingo, tanto en el trabajo juvenil, como en la predicación de los cultos regulares y dirección de cultos; ha dado clases de guitarra a algunos hermanos y está trabajando en el club Bíblico en Guaquitepec, el cual ha sido todo un éxito, se están reuniendo más de 50 niños, los cuales escuchan la Palabra de Dios, por favor continúen orando por Manuel, para que Dios habrá puertas para una permanente estancia en la obra en Chiapas, la clase en Guaquitepec son lo viernes a las 4 pm y esta a 2 horas de Ocosingo esa comunidad indígena.

Continuamos sirviendo en la enseñanza en el centro de entrenamiento “Cenmi” aquí en Ocosingo, es un gran placer contribuir en la formación de más de 70 hermanos, los cuales asisten a este centro, puedo ver la gran necesidad que hay de hombres preparados para el servicio de Dios, y espero que algunos de estos hermanos llegen a ser hombres fieles a Dios y su Palabra, y formen parte del crecimiento Bíblico que nuestro estado tanto necesita.

En este mes de diciembre viene a Chiapas el Hermano Ernesto McCollum, para tener conferencias en un poblado indígena llamado Tacuba Nuevo en el área Tzeltal, donde si Dios lo permite asistirán hermanos de Zapata, Guaquitepec, Yajalon, Pueblo Nuevo y Ceiva, estará por 3 días dando conferencias y tratando temas tales como: la salvación, nuestra rendición a Cristo, la segunda venida, y las características del creyente, entre otros. Después iremos al centro de entrenamiento en Ocosingo, donde hablara con los estudiantes por un día, tratando de una manera personal lo que el señor espera de nosotros como siervos de Dios. Y terminando este dia iremos a Suchiapa, para continuar con 2 días de conferencias, terminando el domingo 14 con predicaciones en los cultos de aniversario de esa iglesia. En estos días Manuel García estará encargándose de los niños que asistan a estas actividades, con lecciones bíblicas, trabajos manuales y juegos infantiles. Les pedimos de sus oraciones por este tiempo en el cual esperamos cosas grandes y oren principalmente por mi Hermano Ernesto que Dios le de fuerzas y salud para esta agenda tan apretada.

Recibimos de parte de la Primera Iglesia en Rio rancho, una noticia formidable, ellos están planeando venir a Ocosingo en el mes de Marzo del 2009, para servir a Dios con escuelas Bíblicas, con temas para jóvenes, visitación, construcción y el pastor vendrá preparado para tener predicaciones y conferencias con pastores en Chiapas, no nos cansamos de agradecer a Dios por mis hermanos, los cuales como tantos otros han sido un regalo de Dios para la obra en Chiapas y para nuestras vidas, ayúdenme a orar por esta iglesia y sus propósitos, que Dios prospere toda obra e intento de bondad que el mismo pone en el corazón de ellos.

Tenemos mucho trabajo en este tiempo, y a veces pareciera que los días son muy cortos, pero dejaremos que cada día traiga su propio afán, aunque al andar de estos días redimiremos el tiempo.

Report for the month of November 2008

Beloved brothers. We thank God for the love and affection you have shown to the ministry and to our selves, we know God is good to those that serve him.
I wish to start by talking to you about Magvis and Pablito. Magvis continues to have her checkups with the doctor, and I trust God for her recovering day by day. Pablito is becoming more and more beautiful all the time. He has began to communicate more clearly and we can understand him better, but what makes us the happiest are his displays of affection, he is a great big gift from God. He loves to sing and pray and we trust that God will call him early in his life. We are ready to motivate and guide him in God's service.
We thank God that we have firm news about the adoption of Veronica, God willing she will be with us before the end of the year. We know she will be a good sister for Pablito, and a great daughter for us. We trust God will use us to be a good role model and to motivate her in her life and devotion to Christ.

Manuel Garcia continues to be a blessing and support for our ministry, he is involved in the church in Oconzingo where we are support. He helps with the youth ministry and sometimes preaching and sometimes presiding in the regular services. He has also taught some of the members to play guitar and is currently working in the bible club in Guaquitepec. The bible club has been a complete success, more than 50 children attend, which hear the word of God, please continue to pray for Manuel, for God to open a permanent position in the Lord's ministry here in Chiapas. The class in Guaiquitepec are held on Friday's at 4 P.M. and that indigenous community is 2 hours from Ocozingo.

We continue to serve in the training institute named "Cenmi", here in Ocozingo, it is a great pleasure to contribute to the training of more than 70 brothers who attend the institute. I can see the great need for men trained in the Lord's service. And I hope these men will be faithful to God and to his word and that they become part of the spiritual growth that our state needs so much of.

This coming month of December we expect the visit of brother Ernesto McCollum to held a conference in an indigenous town called Tacuba Nuevo in the Tzeltal, where God willing we will receive brothers from Zapata,Guaquitepec, Yajalon,Pueblo Nuevo and Ceiva. He will be teaching at the conference for 3 days speaking on subjects like: Salvatio, surrendering to Christ, the second coming of Christ, and the characteristics of a believer amongst other subjects. Then we will go to the training center in Ocozingo were he will speak to the students for 1 day, speaking personally of what God expects from us as God's servants. At the end of that day we will head to Suchiapa to continue with another 2 days of conference, then finishing on the 14th in the anniversary services at our church. During these days Manuel Garcia will be in charge of the children and regular activities with bible lessons and hand crafts and games for the children. We ask that you pray for us during these days where we expect great things from the Lord. Specially please pray for brother Ernesto, for the Lord to give him the strength and health for this hectic agenda.

We received from the First Church in Rio Rancho fabulous news, they are planning on visiting here in the month of March of 2009 to serve in the vacation bible schools. The will help with lessons for the youth, visiting, and building and the pastor will come prepared to preach in the church services and to speak at the conferences for the pastors in Chiapas. We never tire of giving God thanks for our brothers whom along with others have been such a gift to the Lord's work in Chiapas and for our lives. Please help me in praying for this church and their plans, and that the Lord will bless every work and kindness that He him self places in their hearts.

We have a lot of work this season and the days seam too short, but we will let each day have it's own worry although at the pace of these days we will redeem the time.
